Rooms are outdated , carpet moist and nasty. Rooms are noisy. Place was a garbage heap around the fire pits and on the beach in front of hotel. I will never stay here again...
Close to the beach. Dog friendly
Ideal location but dirty and poorly kept. Carpet was ripped, paint coming off the wall, stains on the comforter, toilet was leaking, hidden fees for WiFi and parking.
Do not stay here. The hotel was filthy and rundown. The furniture in the rooms is old and broken. There was mold all over the bathroom walls and ceiling. This hotel was like a motel 6. I cannot believe they charge over $400 per night for this.
Rooms need new carpet and deep cleaning.
Enjoyed the convenience of beach access. The room itself was comparable to a cheap motel. The shower didn't drain. The sheets did not appear to be cleaned.
The ONLY fantastic features of this place were the beach & sunset. The waves provided a soothing, constant, free white noise to remind me that’s what I paid for; otherwise, if you want a $600 room, if you want first class service, if you want space, DO NOT stay here. There were weed smells out on the wraparound balcony (no privacy - people walk right by your room & can look in your room if you leave the blinds up). The room had an old motel smell. The bathroom was tiny. Bath tub took forever to drain. This was a cheap motel room on the beach, so basically you paid for the beach. Room looked nothing like the pictures. I’m sure it was gorgeous in the beginning but unless I hear in the future that there’s been a major renovation, my family & I will not return here. Disappointed.
The room was tight, the roll away mattress was bad, towels were old and shouldn’t be used by anyone
It's all about the beach. Pointless otherwise. Rooms adequate but need maintenance. Lobby fragrance overpowering (gave me a sore throat). Expensive for oceanfront room. Ocean view is nice but know that there's a walkway between you and the beach, which means if you want any privacy at all, you have the curtain closed - IE no view. I think there was reference to a nightly bonfire on the beach: that translates to a gas-fired little fire pit with a couple of chairs. "hot" water ranges from hot to barely OK. furniture could have come straight from a tag sale - shows plenty of wear. No outside shower/faucet that we could find, means you're dealing with sandy feet in your room. but yeah - if you need to be on the beach, this is your choice.
Love that the hotel is right on the beach! Pool and hot tub are wonderful. Been coming to this hotel for decades. Always enjoyable!
The location is amazing! Just steps away from a beautiful beach. There is also a wonderful walking path in front of the hotel. It was easy for walking my dog. Everyone was friendly. My room was nice and clean. I felt safe staying there. The property is quiet, except for the sound of the surf. I would definitely stay there again!
The hotel couldn’t find my reservation even though I fully prepaid Furthermore I saw them give promotional drinks to other people but not me
The view is spectacular
Right on the ocean, with great views and sea life. Look out for the additional fees, including parking.
Great place to stay.
