They put me in a room that had no where to hang my shirts, no chair, no desk and it was right next to the laundry room with machines making weird loud noises all night long, not to mention the nearness of the ice machine which made loud humming sounds all night. The toilet was improperly installed and felt like you would fall off whenever you used it. The operators also parked their personal car in the handicap space and when I mentioned it, they did nothing. I personally could have used that space as I am a placard holder, but had to lug my belongings across the parking lot.

All expectations met. Bathrooms need to be updated.

Unfortunately our TV didn't work, but in all honesty, my wife and I weren't in Monterey to watch TV. Other than that, the location was perfect and convenient, the staff was pleasant, the room was clean, and the price was right. I would recommend this hotel.

Our mattress was in a U shape when we woke. Exhaust broken Dingy, old and dirty. Staff rarely in office. They did move us to a different room in AM for the second night and were pleasant enough but I would never stay there again.

We booked this room while we were in town for the Big Sur Marathon because it was cheap and close to the shuttle. Overall the room was nice, the water pressure wasn't great, and the lock on the bathroom window was broken.

This place is close to everything you need. Close to 17 mile drive, point lobos, fishermans wharf. Hotel staff i felt was a little rude but can be pleasant when they want to be. It had a comfortable bed but the shower was very small. Not bad for the price.

The room itself was nice, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint was that the hot water was lukewarm at best!

Something was making a knocking noise in the wall every five minutes (room 10). Hard to sleep and never stopped during my stay. Also, found a ton of hair on one pillow and the other pillow was stained. There isn't any carpeting, which is okay, but not if you don't clean your floors. Overall, disappointing, but I didn't let it ruin my stay.

Clean room, great location, easy check in. But the bed sucked, toiliet ran all night, an bathtub didn't have a stopper to take a bath

Very small rooms with tight fit into bathrooms. No coffee pot in room. No staff to answer calls to desk.

Great place to stay with the family. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Place NEEDS LOTS OF REPAIR!! CENTRALLY located for our needs but, we were OVERCHARGED MORE THAN QUOTED FOR THE SECOND NITE!!! PERSON @ desk did NOT give a CARE!! I will NOT RETURN NOR will I recommend this place or Orbit to anyone!!! I need to see a Dr. Once a month in that area, BUT I will book elsewhere & DEFINITELY NOT USE ORBIT!!!!

Only stayed one night but we were very happy with the accommodations. The room was clean and the property well-kept. Would definitely put it on the list to stay again if in the area.

This is the fourth occasion I have stayed here. I enjoy the clean rooms and proximity to downtown Monterey.

The good news: room was inexpensive, clean and a decent size. The bad: website states continental breakfast. They only offer coffee in the morning. To me, that's not a continental breakfast.

I stayed at this location because of it's proximity to the start of the Big Sur ½ Marathon. Also, it's close to the Del Monte Mall. Easy access to HWY 1. Parking was adequate for the number of vehicles at the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful .

The room was clean. I needed a coffee maker and one was not provided. I like the microwave and small refrigerator.

my boyfriend and I had a great stay here, but we only used the room to sleep and get ready. our neighbors did try to say we kept them awake til 3am, when in reality we were sleeping til 3am when my boyfriend woke up coughing, darn that sleep apnea! so I guess that man had a terrible stay, but we thought it was great. I would be back!

Our room was great. Spacious, clean, and modern. We appreciated the laminate wood floor over most carpeted hotels. The reception staff was friendly and easily accommodated visitors from other countries. The hotel is on a street full of hotels, I would revisit this one again and again. We could walk to the Wharf and farmers market, many restaurants, and even the beach. It was right in the road that leads to Carmel beach and HWY making our trip down the coast a easy and relaxing one.

Warm welcome at the front desk, really helpful staff ( front desk agent guy and the housekeeper ladies). Nice and clean room. Quite area and close to a shopping and dining facilities.
