Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-Maitland

Quick trip

Everything was in good shape and clean. Only thing a I noticed was that the hotel was positioned pretty tight, pool loses sun early afternoon and elevators are a little slow

DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando

Great time!

I chose this hotel because of the close location to Universal Studios. I did use the hotel shuttle in the morning , but walked back from the park which took about 20 minutes. The room was large, and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the 50 inch tv!

Sheraton Orlando North Hotel

You pay for the name

I was definitely expecting something a lot more luxurious in terms of decor for the price I paid but i guess you're paying for the name. Within minutes of walking into my room I found a giant roach crawling on my wall, obviously I didn't change rooms because this is Florida, there are bugs everywhere, just sucked that's all. Outside of the hotel needs updating to help match interior. Did not like the fact that you had to pay for daily internet access in your room and breakfast. I could have stayed at a cheaper hotel and gotten both included. Overall stay was average, I definitely chose the wrong week to stay lots of kids and high school student athletes staying at the hotel. I did enjoy the Irish pub An Tobar attached; Debra was awesome and the food and conversation were great.
