Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, located at 100 Aviation Boulevard, is about 15 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale city center. Some of the airlines that service this airport include American, Delta and Frontier. To get to the airport, you can hire a taxi, take the bus, ride the Tri-Rail or drive your own car. A taxi costs between $20 and $120, depending on the trip origin. A bus trip costs only $1.50. The Tri-Rail costs between $2.50 and $6.90, depending on the length of the trip.
If you drive your own car, you can park in the valet lot, the hourly lot, the daily lot or the economy lot. The valet lot costs $21 per day, the hourly lot costs $36 per day, the daily lot costs $15 per day and the economy lot costs $7.50 per day. There is a free shuttle that will take you to the terminal from the economy lot. Once you're in the airport, you can grab a bite to eat at Dunkin' Donuts, Uno or any of the other restaurants in the terminal.

Orlando International Airport, located at 1 Airport Boulevard, is about 20 minutes from the city center. The airport integrates art into its design, so it's as beautiful as it is functional. To get from the airport to your final destination, you can rent a car, take a bus, ride a hotel shuttle or hire a taxi. Most hotel shuttles are free to guests, and a bus ride costs between $2 and $4. Taxi rides cost between $12 and $75, depending on your destination. If you rent a car, there are several on-site rental car companies at the airport.
Orlando is usually warm throughout the year, with average temperatures ranging from 49 to 92 degrees Fahrenheit. Summer is the hottest and rainiest time of year, so dress lightly and bring an umbrella if you visit during this time. Many people head to Orlando to visit Walt Disney World or one of the other theme parks, but there are many other options. Catch an awe-inspiring Cirque du Soleil show, stroll around the Harry P. Leu Gardens or attend a fun dinner show. No matter what you do, you're sure to have a great time.
