Marriott's Grand Chateau

We picked this hotel not just because of the location but also because there are no resort fees. Hotel staff is available at all items and very willing to help you if necessary. They recommended places to go for activities, dinner, etc and did not shove their own hotel activities down your throat like other hotels love to do. The room is kept clean and well maintained. There are two pools. One on the 5th floor and one on the 38th floor. I recommend going to the 5th floor pool during the afternoon and the 38th floor at night for drinks. It is 1 block from the strip which means you won't hear all the excessive car honking if your hotel is in the strip. It is situated perfectly and provides you with an opportunity to plan out your day on the strip. Walking distance to MGM is about the same distance as the Bellagio. So, due to its excellent location you can visit one side of the strip one day and the other side another day. We visited both sides on the same day. Bad idea. It gets really exhausting to walk all that distance. The experience is worth it but your feet will be in massive pain. I highly recommend this hotel mainly due to its location but also because of its amenities and hotel staff and no resort fees. You hear that competitors???? NO RESORT FEES. Quit charging people this junk. I will stay at any hotel that does not charge POINTLESS resort fees. As for breakfast, I recommend crossing the street, going into miracle shops and getting breakfast there. It's very good!

Everything was good except for the shower did not have hot water. We had to use the bathtub to clean up

Our family of four had an enjoyable time as the Marriott Grand Marquis as our home base for several day trips.

We donot gamble, so we prefer to go to this hotel, closed & convenience.

The best thing about this Vegas hotel is that though centrally located, it does not have a casino, so you can quickly get in and out and on your way without having to spend time threading your way past tables and slots. Good gym and facilities.

Everything went as expected. Wonderful staff. Very clean.

Awesome location, friendly staff, close to Vegas experience.

Our family loved Marriott's Grand Chateau. Clean. Everything we needed was there (refrig, stove, microwave, coffee maker, washer/dryer, kitchen stuff). It was just great. It was like being home.....The location too was close to most of other major casino hotels.....We'll be back to this hotel for sure in our next Vegas strip. J

Stayed a week here for a conference in Vegas. It was within walking distance to the conference (on the strip). I didn't want to stay at the conference hotel to stay away from the casinos, and this was a nice option - great price. Very spacious and clean.

Good location close to the strip. Comfortable room in a safe, quite location.

This place is the best in Vegas for those who prefer no casinos in the hotel. Located right in the heart of the strip. Plenty to do nearby. Perfect rooftop pools open in winter!!!! Safe private and luxurious entryway. Large room with awesome xl tub! I was very pleased overall, yay Marriott.

Nice clean and smoke free hotel. Not a casino is big plus.

This place is perfect for family trip. We party of 4 with a kid booked a two-bedroom suite, so basically it's like a home outside home in Vegas! Room is in a nice location, and pretty clean with the usual Marriot level service. Would come back again.

Just off the strip avoiding the crowds, noise and hustlers. Great staff, very informative

Easy to get to and easy to get everywhere, very clean and comfortable

From the beginning it was a wonderful experience. Free Valet. Really close to the strip. The rooms a beautiful with a full kitchen also. Super clean. Staff was welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back.

Just one block away from the strip and across the street from Miracle Mile Mall. Very convenient yet with cheaper price. Will come back again in the future visit.

We had a two bedroom suite at the hotel and it was great value for the size. Overall it was a great spot and would have earned 5 stars if it wasn't for : (1) there were two working elevators for the ENTIRE hotel. meaning there was a 15-20 minute wait just to get on the elevator. Too bad if you have a higher floor. Also (2) taxis do not like coming here and you have to walk to Planet Hollywood in order to hail a cab.

The hotel was perfect walking distance to the strip and close enough for us without actually staying on it. For those traveling with more than 4 in their party, the Marriott offers rooms that can accommodate larger parties comfortably. Roof top pool had an awesome view. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was nice. Location very good near strip. Only negative was the music and noise from the pool that I overlooked from 6 floors up-it ws constant until 11:00 p.m. Everything else was great-I would stay here again except I would ask for a room away from the 5th floor pool. Another plus-No "resort fee."
