Likes: -once I got familiarized with the building lay out and the surrounding streets and buildings, navigation was easy whether on foot or by car -AVIS rental kiosk on site -for sports fans for future events: walking distance to Allegiant Stadium, T Mobile Arena, and the future baseball stadium -helpful staff Dislikes (not exclusive to Excalibur, but likely the norm in The Strip): -no coffeemaker and free coffee in the room -no microwave

I do not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of other options that are more updated and in a better location on the strip. We "upgraded" to a "renovated" room with a view of the strip, but the room was terrible. There was visible mold on the bathroom ceiling and in other areas. After one day there was visible dust on the top of the dresser. The air unit was disgusting and made me sick (I'm allergic to dust mites and mold, so it was an immediate issue). The only positives were the ease of the rideshare area and the pool area, which was enjoyable. I would not stay here again.

Johnny Rockets was the best breakfast for the price. There were a lot of long lines for other places to eat. My husband and I split the American breakfast each day. The hotel was very clean, and the tram to the Luxor and Mandalay Bar was much easier than walking. Close to New York New York and T-mobile arena. The Tiki bar was a fun place to hang out.

The stay was really good. The staff was absolutely awesome. The hotel was great for what we needed access to T-Mobile Arena. I was in room 27152 and one thing to fix and a couple of suggestions. Need to fix AC when it’s set below 67 when the AC comes on it rattles for about 5-10 seconds. Some suggestions if you don’t have a mini fridge in the room you should let them know. I was ok but if you had a mother pumping breast milk that could be a problem. I would suggest bigger trash cans. Thanks
