Loved the new room decor, felt like I was staying at a brand new hotel. Although sad to see the shay lounge couches go. The only downfall was pool area. The pool edges had a terrible amount of hand grime. Looked as if the edges hadn't been power washed in years, and the jacuzzi was not hot only like warm.

Great location near the strip ,clean ,nice pool, but super loud door closers ! All doors slam so hard that it will drive u crazy when ur trying to go to sleep at all hours ! Plus the desk where you pick up parking pass tries to bait you with free show or buffet but the catch is the need a credit card and you need to waste a hour of your time for a siminar! No way . Besides that it's a great place to stay .

Nice place to relax away from the Strip business but close enough to access events you want to attend! Staff was very nice and room supplies very adequate!

The toilet was so close to the wall and bathtub big people would struggle to use it.

We loved the room! It was really big and it comfortably fit myself and 4 friends. We loved the full kitchen, and it came with plenty of kitchen utensils. It was super helpful that the staff gave us an extra 30 min to check out of our room too. Loved the location! The hotel is in walking distance to MGM, Luxor, Excalibur, Hooters and Tropicana. It's about a 10 min walk to any of these hotels. My only complaint is that the elevator by our room was super slow and couldn't hold many people. Sometimes we had to wait 5-7 min. Just for the elevator.

Overall, a very nice resort and room. We stayed in a one bedroom with 3 people and had plenty of room. Nice that it had a kitchen and no additional resort fees. Staff was friendly. Only minor gripe which would drop the overall score to 4.5 from 5 stars would be the AC. It was really loud when the fan was on. It was pretty consistently on due to the 110F+ weather so it bothered the person sleeping in the sofa couch. Once the door was closed, it was ok for the bedroom occupants but kept that room a bit hotter than the common area.

The room was great and clean. The hotel staff was not helpful and VERY slow moving. I had to call and ask for more coffee Creamer 3 times and never got it...the front dest had zero urgency and even if there was no one waiting they took forever to come to the desk. Had this been just on room quality it would be 5 stars...but the staff was awful.

We were really happy here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were really nice and quiet considering how close to the airport it is. We were able to walk to the Excaliber and MGM in 10 minutes.

Our second stay. We really like the place. Excellent location for us.

Very comfortable, just near the strips and staff are easy to desl with and polite

Good beds and quite. We didn't hear the airport noise

Be prepared for a time share sell. Do not supply maids so have to call desk for everything.

Hotel is doing major renovations. Elevator was used for the construction crew

it is everything your ads say it is..very pleased. we would stay there again. of course it is a bit overpriced, but in thus case that was fine

I stayed there for 2 nights with 2 other friends. The room has everything you need, with kitchen, table, living room, a nice bathroom with bathtub, a very comfortable bed. The location is also good.

Everything was excellent. I was on vacation and this hotel gave me everything i needed bar, pool, one bedroom suite all to myself. Full kitchen with appliances. Almost made me wanna cook lol.

Very decent size apartments make you feel like home, this hotel exceeded our expectations

overall very pleasant experience. i added my rating and the comments where i felt appropriate. orbitz does not want me to submit until i add to this question. i added to this question, but apparently my answer was insufficient. orbitz should be appreciative of any level of review and not dictate the amount i describe.

The carpet in the room had recently been cleaned and was soaking wet. The dampness and perhaps the reason the carpet was cleaned created a dank, musty smell that was intense. The room was a ground floor room with windows that could only open 5". There were no screens on the windows so I was not comfortable leaving the windows open through the night. I mentioned the wet carpet to the front desk and the reaction and received a sympathetic "oh" but that was the end of it. Very basic hotel - would not recommend it based on my one night stay.

We had a good stay at desert rose. We stayed in a 2br suit with full kitchen. The suit is very good. The kitchen had all required utensils and its just 5 mins walk to strip. we loved it. I do hate the sales pitch. They kept calling us almost 3 - 5 times a day to get us to hear their sales pitch about the resort membership. Who has time for this in vegas. come on guys. Even after i do not want them to call, they kept calling. Stop this annoying calls please.(I gave 4 start review just because of this annoying calls)
