This is condensed email to the GM and hotel email. Yet to get a response more than a week later. Biggest issue: my wife's gold bracelet turned up missing during transport of bags from room to valet. Can't say for certain it was stolen but filed police report. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff at front desk who seemed very inexperienced and rather immature. A few were laughing and playing on a phone while we checked in with another staff member. It seemed as if there needed to be an adult in the room.. We asked if early check in was available and were informed it wasn't, but they would call when our room was ready. At around 345pm we called to get an update and they indicated our room was ready. I told him we were expecting a call and he indicated the room had just opened up. My impression was he knew someone forgot to make the call. Went out for the evening and back around 11pm. Greeted by staff who again just seemed very young, immature and inexperienced. Lacked interest in their job. One interaction that was positive. Patrick at your concierge desk. Very nice, always had a smile on his face. Didn't utilize his services but upbeat when we saw him. We came down for breakfast to see a sandwich board indicating we had to pay $5 for eggs or an omelette; not free as advertised on hotel website. Again, all this sent to them in two separate emails and we reported the missing bracelet to their lost and found. Haven't heard a word. Very poor customer service.

Super convenient hotel that's on the border of California and Nevada. It's right on the main strip of shops and restaurants making it the perfect place to stay in Tahoe (also just a small walk away from the lifts). The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast buffet was great! I was happy with the rooms, they had a small living area, kitchen table, kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator, and a nice size separate bedroom. I was a little disappointed in the bathroom, our shower water pressure was very low and unfortunately our toilet kept running. However, it was a very casual and comfortable space to get away.

"Free" breakfast was average but what was weird was they wanted an extra $5 to cook eggs to order, rather than scrambled. Kinda weird. Plus I went to use hot tub when pool opened in the morning but it was empty. Bummer.

Cool place. But where is the parking. Valet only! That sucks. Please work out a deal with Harris. Some people don’t want others in their car or have kids a valet isn’t always a convience.

The valet parking service is way too slow. There was just one person doing everything. We waited 30-40 mins to get our car in the morning. And this is after charging $19 per day.

great location, sl dated, need remodel great breakfast. good price.

Nice hotel with a every night fee and parking fee.

We LOVED this hotel. For the price and location, you can’t beat the Lake Tahoe Resort. It’s a quick walk to the Heavenly gondola and to restaurants and shops. The staff was awesome - so accommodating and helpful from the moment we booked the rooms (secured adjoining rooms for us) to the breakfast staff to the reception and bellhop crew. Would absolutely come back.

Hotel ran out of towels and didn’t have bedding (pillows/blankets) for pull out bed even though we booked for 4 people. They did remove the valet from our charges to make up for these things.

We have been staying here on a regular basis for the last 10 years. The location and room layout are great. Unfortunately, since Hilton sold the property the level of service has steadily declined to the point we will no longer stay here. in our most recent stay retrieving the car from the valet took 30-90 minutes with multiple instances of retrieving the wrong vehicle and losing the keys. There were never enough valet or bell staff to support the volume of customers. The happy hour is pourly managed and the snacks are usually empty. The pool is heated to a temperature suitable for the polar bear club. We are going to stay at Basecamp from now on.

We planned for an last minute trip to Tahoe and found this place which was reasonable as well as had some good ratings. The place is waking distance from heavenly village and many good restaurants. Hottel has grand interiors. However the room was a disappointment.. it was huge n clean but looked very old. The mattress was flimsy and i coud feel the springs inside.. Also bed was not adjusted properly, there was a huge gap between the headboard n the mattress from where pillows kept falling out. We had to adjust the mattress before we slept. Also note that this hotel has $19 of parking fee which is saprate from $19 of resort fee..it is deceptive since both the amounts are same and is not stated anywhere that both are saperate explicitly.

This is a Hidden Gem amongst the major high-rises on both sides of the resort. Great location. Close to everything you need. Walking is great. Very visually pleasing. Friendly staff. Great happy hour and breakfast. Nothing but great things to say about this Resort. I will definitely be back.

The TV and both rooms phones were not working. We notified the staff who never fixed it. And the people next to us were smoking so much pot that it filled our room with smoke. We had to keep the windows open so our kids wouldn't be affected as much.

Second stay here and everything was very positive. It was very busy so there was a bit of a delay at the valet but it is understandable. The only issue is the car line backs up to the busy SLT strip so it adds to the commotion. Inside at the front desk there were not any lines at all. My only suggestion is that they staff a bit better for the peak check in hours on busy weekends. 1 or 2 more valets could have cut the time down to a more reasonable level. In all, the hotel was great and the breakfast buffet was a huge plus in the morning before a full day of skiing.

Nice enough but not really clean, but I guess all hotels are kind of dirty in my opinion. Paid valet with no other parking options for $19 a day is ridiculous. Plus they charge a resort fee of $19 a day. Be ready to pay an extra $100 or more on top of there room rates. I hate hidden charges! The best thing was how roomy it was, good for big families with kids.

The hotel was nice & comfortable. But, the breakfast(warm), was terrible because everything was COLD. I'll still go to this hotel & stay again, because the free breakfast, is just that free, the highlight was the coffee it was very good, & that's all I need is to take a cup of coffee & toast & get going. Plus, what the hotel has no control are the families with kids & themselves, if your sick, stay home or learn how to cover your mouth when coughing/sneezing. So advise is to use hand sanitizer.

Bed look no any change , have cookie at sofa, bathroom very dirty

We came here as a family for our kids' winter break vacation. The hotel has a very warm and inviting lobby. Check-in was easy and staff was really friendly. We love how spacious our room is and I think the hotel has a wonderful layout. My only complain would be that my husband and I did feel a bit itchy after our stay. The place might need a bit more detailed vacuum. We had free breakfast every morning on the second level and the food selection was wonderful. Overall it was a good stay.

I am very happy with this hotel (fifth time choosing this hotel) is close to everything, the installations are so comfortable, love the indoor swimming pool and gym, my nephews enjoyed a lot, breakfast included and happy hour (before was not charge) but is not to expensive, the staff are very professional front desk, housekeeping, breakfasts and valet parking, thank you so much to make my family and l enjoyed a lot our vacations

The room was very spacious (basically 2 rooms since bedroom is separate from living room) and the location is really good. Right next to the casinos for gambling and on Heavenly for the snow activities. Free breakfast and parking can also be free if you park at the Casino parking right next door. The pool can be warmer though and the smell of chlorine was way too strong. Overall I would stay here again!

We are glad you enjoyed our convenient location and thank you for your feedback. The full hot breakfast buffet line and cold buffet line are all included in the complementary breakfast, but the made-to-order eggs do have a surcharge. We are sorry to hear the hot tub was under maintenance when you wanted to use it; we try to get most maintenance done during off hours.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Due to strict regulations on parking lots in South Lake Tahoe, our hotel was only able to build an underground garage which is why we (and nearby properties such as the Marriott) are valet-only. Harrah's lot is private property and currently they are not allowing any outside guests to park there.

We are very sorry to hear that the valet service negatively impacted your stay. We will pass this along to a manager in regards to staffing, but during high occupancy days, peak checkout/check-in times do take longer to retrieve vehicles.
