This is a budget hotel. I really like having microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. Especially this is valuable during COViD times. We had a jacuzzi which I was not able to fill up, it was not working and I couldn’t enjoy my experience. The floor in the bathroom was very slippery.
The property was fine, it was a very reasonably priced compared to the other sub $100/nt rooms. Check in took an extra hour due to no rooms ready due to it being New Year’s Day. The manager was taking a lot of heat from the guests checking in. Felt sorry for the guy, but it is what it is. Will probably stay at a more expensive place next time. Due to the fact, you get what you pay for.
customer service was the worst that I have ever come across .
The room had laminate wood floor which was a plus & made it feel a little cleaner. The lamps were dusty; the iron literally caked in dust so the cleaning is your basic surfaces only. The bathroom was very small. Had to hold the handle down forever for an actual flush. Shower had minimal water pressure & wasnt very hot. Never got hot water from sink. Mismatched towels 1 kind of plush, 1 thin as a paper towel. Slow wi-fi. Only plus was a comfy bed, friendly staff @ check in & easy checkout. I have stayed in worse but definitely have stayed in much better.
The pool was a hole in the ground literally. It still had the bobcat parked in it. The first room they tried to check us into had the beds wrapped in plastic and tools everywhere. Its one thing to say the hotel lobby is under renovation. Its another thing for the entire place to be under renovation. They did get us another triple room as booked, but it took quite a while at midnight qith two small children. It was cheaper than surrounding hotels, but should have been even cheaper honestly.
We paid for two queen beds, but were given a room with a king bed so we had to share our toddler. My parents had a king bed in their room also that was slanted on each side of the mattress and wasn’t comfortable to sleep on-they borrowed pillows to to make it better. Our rooms didn’t have a bathtub which our daughter prefers and the morning of our second night there was no hot water to shower with. They were also out of breakfast that morning! After that we decided to pack up and leave a day early.
