Liked: Great staff, great location. nice room. No dislikes, but the pools are small and the pool area is a little worn. The cafe was closed on Monday and Tuesday, so no bartender at the pool. Had a great time and really enjoyed our stay.
The location, northern end of Duval, makes it perfect for walking & exploring town. The staff are very friendly and if you just ask they will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. My concern though is with the pools and the available umbrellas & chaise chairs. They allowed outside individuals enjoy the pool & its amenities without any cost. How is that even possible? We are being additional exposed possibly to Covid 19 by crowding from non paying guests. Hotel guest are paying $400 and up per night and we have to compete with locals for space around the pool? I do not understand. This would be a major deal breaker for us to stay at a hotel that already does not have enough umbrellas & chaise chairs for their guest.
We loved the location and the property. I hope that we just caught the staff on an “off” weekend. Had to ask more than once for a pillow, coffee service not replaced, etc

Nice Hotel but Room very noisy, walls between the rooms really thin and parking expensive for the overnight.
The excellent staff stands out amongst its competitors
On 31OCT19 my flight through Atlanta was redirected due to weather, and by the time we returned to ATL I had missed all connections to Key West. That evening I called the Marker’s reservation desk to inform them of my 1-day delay. I was assured my room would be available. When I arrived at the Marker on 01NOV19, they did not have a reservation for me, and also no availability. They were able to transfer me to a suitable alternative at the Southernmost Hotel, however the hassle only compounded a challenging travel experience. I have enjoyed staying at the Marker in the past but will consider other options during my next visit to Key West.
Room and service was fine, however the Marker charged $40 per day for a resort fee. They have three pools, two were open to the public and construction was going on next to the third at the fitness center. When questioned about the fitness center, they said I could go to a center nearby and have it charged to my room. What is left that is worth $40/day. When this was addressed, I was offered breakfast for one day and two well drinks. I could have this cheaper any else on the island... Shame shame and bye

We stayed last year and had a wonderful stay, this year not so much, we arrived 2 hours before check in so we were charged a $40 fee, even tho our room was ready. Last year they didn't charge us, last year you were given 2 bottles of water a day, this year you had to pay, last year we were greeted at the door, taken to our room questions answered, this year pay the forty bucks and here's your room card, the elevator is that way!! The bartender was the same wonderful man thankfully that has not changed. The pool is not just for the people that are staying there even tho you pay the resort fee. On Saturday a group of young people came and took over the whole pool with a giant inflatable pink flamingo. We were ADVISED that they were putting it in the pool, but we could jump on. How kind, so in answer to anyone's question - NO I will not stay there again and if you have any sense you won't either
This a nice hotel. This is NOT a resort to charge $40/day resort fee. Other than a pool there are no Amenities. No Spa It says live music. Only a DJ on Friday. No Music on Saturday. Resort fee is a rip off.
I loved the color scheme. Also, loved the veranda. It was like a rain forest where I had my coffee each morning. I would have liked a microwave in the room. Also, another trash receptacle would have been helpful. The ones in the room were very small. Otherwise, it was a lovely place to stay.
Hotel was outstanding except the room next to us was under construction and we were not alerted to be ready for constant noise and disruption outside of the typical “pardon our construction signs” in the lobby. Made an otherwise enjoyable trip a little less so.
The Valet David is the best. Very comfortable bed. Great balcony view. All the great stuff to do is in walking distance!

We truly value your feedback and understand that you had many options on the island, but you chose our property which is in the heart of the harbor district. We have three pools on the property, two in the front and one in the back. The back pool is specifically for guests of the hotel only and is named the Serenity Pool.
