The in-unit A/C was disturbingly loud and on top of that there were two industrial A/C stations right under the balconies. The noise was unbearable. What sane architect would design something like that?

The location to shopping was close by along with access to restaurants. Room was outdated and needs to be renovated but met our needs . Pool , restaurant was wonderful. Staff was exceptional and welcoming . Second year enjoying the resort but would like to see the rooms updated .

The resort is very nice and pool area and bar was nice too. Our only negative was our first floor room had a door going out to a patio and the lock on it was bad. If someone wanted to get in our room, it would have been very easy for them to do so from the outside. Parking garage was convenient but cost was too high when you’re already paying for the room plus a resort fee.

The location of Opal Key Resort is fantastic — right on the water and walking distance to Duval Street. The rooms were comfortable, and the new Mexican restaurant on-site was excellent. Staff were friendly overall, though service could be better. Great spot if you want to be close to everything in Key West!

It is a okay place to stay. For the price and the condition I wouldn’t stay there again. The bathroom door barely moved and the outside slider door wouldn’t open. We called to get help with it but nobody showed up. People were unhelpful. Nice property but for the price the issue with the bathroom sliding door was not good and the slider to the deck.

Beautiful property right on the pier with amazing ocean views. You walk out of the hotel to a bunch of cute shops. Within a two minute walk you are in historic Key West with more shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment, and more. They have oceanside dining and a beautiful pool. The resort is minutes away from beaches. I could not be happier with this choice. I highly recommend Opal Key Resort.

If you like a tractor next to bed you found it!

One of the worst nights of my life. The AC was so loud we did not sleep all night. It was a combination of tractor and a washing machine. We changed rooms but no improvement but got worst. There were cockroaches everywhere and the floors were sticky. We left the property at 5am and have been sick to my stomach for the past two days probably from all the chemicals for the bugs. This property fails every hygiene standard. The only positive note at the property was the GM - Bachi. He was super polite, friendly and hospitable. He truly wanted to help but with this type of hardware and roach infestation it is impossible.
