This property is old but the biggest problem is that it is not very clean. A lot of things were dusty and grimey. Our breakfast at Marche Burette was mediocre. The one saving grace is that it is beachfront.

Great location, beautiful beach, wonderful staff.

Beautiful location surrounded by trees and flowers. On the ocean.

Absolutely everything was top-notch! I would return in a heartbeat!

I loved the security they provided for us which made me feel comfortable there! The property was beautiful and clean. I was however very disappointed at the price of beverages at the poolside bar. A Long Island ice tea was $13 and a glass of bottom shelf pino was $17. Your best bet is to buy your own alcohol and go get food off site to save money. They use the convenience of location against you for sure. The resort is at least 15-20 mins away from the closest restaurant that isn’t associated with the resort. Another thing was the pool amenities had ridiculous time restraints. The pool opens at 8 am and closes a 5:30 pm. Not only does it close before the sun is down, but check in for the hotel is at 4 pm. So for the families coming in on their first day, once they check in, bring their belongings up and get the kids changed they only have MAYBE 30 mins to enjoy the pool! For a group of adults to be kicked out of a hot tub when the sun is still out and the hot tub and pool have lights is just very annoying. Not to mention the disappointment on kids faces when they realize they can’t swim after just getting there. Most hotel pools close at 10 pm. This is just absurd. If they reduced prices on their alcohol and extended times for amenities I would give them 5 full stars. But they just fell a little short of our expectations. At the price we paid for the hotel, we should be able to enjoy less expensive drinks and food and longer times to enjoy amenities.

the privately owned villas need to be updated and cleaned better.

Very clean and beautiful. Restaurant service and food were excellent. We loved it and would recommend.
