This was a great property for a girls trip! It was quaint with outdoor thatched roof buildings, multiple eating areas, multiple pools and outdoor areas to just hang out. The beachfront availability with chairs and umbrellas was very convenient. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Great cocktails and food! We also enjoyed being a short walk to the Pompano Beach Pier area which offers lots of restaurants and shops.

Nice place to stay and chill out, rooms were spacious and I had a balcony with a partial ocean view. The bathrooms were not properly cleaned and the coffee machine didn’t operate. The onsite restaurant was a great convenience but there are other places to eat nearby no gym or spa services but if you just want to relax at the beach check it out

I like the balcony overlooking the ocean. The everyday maid service was good and personnel giving out beach towels were friendly and helpful. The desk personnel need help because they are not well versed in what to tell guesss when they check in about the property. They were not friendly nor did they go out of their way to be helpful. The food at resort was above average. The resort fee and parking are not included in nightly rate. If you do not opt to get valley parking, you have to go across a very busy street A1A) and park your car. I have traveled to many beautiful places and stay at many resorts, but this one needs new management to help train the staff understand guests requirements.

The floor initially assigned was ground floor - requested higher floor for safety and privacy and was told there were no rooms, they were full. However, 'found' a room on 2nd floor overlooking the roof of the dining area-- when there were clearly many open rooms on the same floor with better views and access. No matter- the room was clean but the walls were paper thin and everything could be heard, especially the people partying outside the door in the hallway until very late in the night (2 am)- very loud, unable to sleep. Privacy sign kept falling off of the door- would think there are better options to signal do not need housekeeping than that.

Property is lovely but older, and the room could have been cleaner. Linens, rug were ok and clean, bed was comfortable. But the bathroom had built up dust in corners and mold in the shower which was discovered after coughing all night 1st night (allergic to mold). Called front desk who sent someone up right away to clean it, but then room smelled of bleach for a time so we had to go out. Nonetheless, would go back and give a second try, as staff were wonderful, restaurant/bar was convenient and good quality, and beach was spectacular and well maintained.

I have stayed here many times, the staff is great, rooms are very clean. Love that you don’t have to walk far to the pool or beach. Also, not very far from Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

I recently stayed at The Beachcomber in Pompano Beach for 3-nights and had a mixed experience. The exterior of the hotel and the surrounding area were lovely, beautiful lobby, coffee area and a relaxing beachfront vibe. However, my stay was overshadowed by some serious issues. The room itself was disappointing. It felt unclean from the moment I walked in, with noticeable dirt in the corners and a musty smell that lingered. Despite the charm of the outdoor spaces, the condition of the room left much to be desired. Day two, no cleaning service even arrived. Unfortunately, it got worse after I returned home. I realized I had multiple bug bites, which makes me concerned about the hygiene and possible pest issues in the room. While the location and exterior ambiance were great, the state of the rooms and the aftermath of my stay make it hard for me to recommend this hotel.
