Staying here doesn’t make sense, if you’re on vacation. No pool, no jacuzzi, $18 per night to park, $16 per day, for breakfast. I had no hot water in my room and the very cold shower turned off on me twice. The staff however, was very friendly. They refunded me a nights stay. Maybe once construction is done it will be better but for now, I was highly disappointed.

The hotel was under renovation, a mess in Libby, no place to sit and relax without hearing drills and construction all day on a Saturday no less. Place was dusty from work occuring. We had no idea this hotel was under construction, the concierge seemed bothered with working there and weren’t too friendly to the guests. We had no room service for the two nights we were there, had to ask for clean towels. We asked for a late check out, as we were running the marathon. They said yes no problem, but when we got back to hotel after running a marathon, our room keys didn’t work and had to go back to the desk. Very disappointed with the stay. I would think during a busy weekend they would have not scheduled work to be done. They charged $18 for breakfast during all this craziness and you sat and couldn’t talk or relax due to drilling.

Excellent experience. This hotel is my go to place when i come to Jax Beach. The Staff are top notch, and the hotel is being renovated, and i was in one of the new rooms and it was very nice. Highly recommend, i wouldnt stay anywhere else when i come to town.

Was not notified that all amenities were closed with loud construction all day that caused my noise sensitive autistic child fear and pain to the point we were confirmed to the room to avoid walking through loud drilling, no pool, no guest laundry. Plumbing was not working and plumber came 3 times and then had to switch rooms. Worst stay we have ever experience, paying full price for this is beyond distressing. Will be contacting corporate immediately. Avoid this hotel. The only positive was the staff who were friendly and can’t imagine the headaches they experience.

I wasn’t told that construction was going on at this hotel. It was a big inconvenience to navigating in and out of the hotel as well as that loud awful banging noise below my room that woke us up each morning…Even with all of that I might probably stay again if the construction was not going on

It would hav been nice to knwo that the hotel was being remolded and the pool/spa were closed. They had one elevator working and that there was no access to the beach through the hotel you had to walk out and around the parking lot.

Hotel under remodeling - construction which resulted in blocked area, closed amenities, parking problems, and noise. TV did not work properly, and room phone not connected which would have been used in emergency. Water was cut off for several hours which prevented bathing, using toilet, even washing of hands, or making coffee. Slow to no response to problems which could have been addressed. Staff was pleasant even though they were dealing with problems out of their control. If we had been notified at time of reservation, we could have chosen another location. I had appointment at Mayo and chose this location so that we could relax, enjoy sounds of the sea, and rest. It was disappointing to deal with all these problems. We had to make decision to check out and return home.

This hotel was under major renovation and should not be open. Constant drilling, extremely limited use of amenities (no pool, no hot tub, no firepits, no beach access, jackhammers in lobby, no use of bar or restaurant).

The property would have been nice but was under construction, so the beach access, pool, tiki bar, lobby were all closed. I didn’t see where this was mentioned when we booked. They ran loud drills all day starting in the morning. We had to go next door to get to the beach. Our room was nice and the beach was nice. If we would have been there at non-construction time, it would have been much better.

Hotel was under construction and this was not disclosed until check in. No hot tub or pool use due to construction. Water and power outage and minimal hot water. Unable to access front door the last 2 days. Fire alarm went off only in our room. Leaking ceiling in the lobby. Filthy elevator. Repeatedly had to ask for towels and toilet paper and had to ask for our room to be cleaned (only got done twice in 9 days). Had to pay for regular coffee. Very disappointing for the price

This information was not clearly stated on the website, and knowing ahead of time would have helped us better plan our stay. This would have easily been a 5 star review but I feel like I really got the short end of the stick with this stay. I booked this specific hotel for a quick weekend getaway..6 hours away from where I live. The 2 main attractions: beachfront and hot tub. Unfortunately for us, the hotel was under construction which included the hot tub. If I had known we would wake up to banging noises in the morning, and no hot tub…I would have booked somewhere else. I wish I had known before hand. Otherwise, the hotel was nice. It was clean, staff were friendly and the room was great (maybe the shower could use a little facelift). The bed was comfortable, water pressure was substantial and we had no other issues besides the before mentioned. Maybe a small disclaimer when booking that states “this hotel is under construction” and list the amenities that are currently unavailable. I’d love to give the marriot properties another try in the future ;maybe I should call head next time to ask about the hot tub.
