    Location perfect. House needs deep cleaning
    The house was located in a perfect location. Could walk to beach, restaurants, shops ect. But the house is in need of a serious deep cleaning.. linens need to be replaced . Screen porch needs a good sweeping. The basement where the laundry is located is disgusting.. very disappointed with the condition of the house. With some major cleaning and replacement of the linens and bed pillows, this rental could be absolutely charming..

    We had several issues unrelated to the house plus issues with the house itself. First, the shower on the first floor was completely clogged. Next, the bed on the 1st floor had a bunch of black hairs in the bed. Were the sheets not changed? I contacted Vacasa and the cleaning crew showed up as we were leaving the house so that did not help us at all. Another issue is the smell that comes from the microwave. I don't know what got blown up in there but it smells awful. The cleaning lady smelled it with me and agreed that it smells terrible. Not sure if they were able to get the smell off. The house itself is very old. The clock in the living room is extremely annoying - it chimes loudly every hour even at night time so my dad who slept in the bedroom next to it just couldn't sleep at all. The house does not have the ACs so we had to use the fans that they provided but they were very loud and dirty. The beds are just awful - they are probably 40 years old... your back will definitely hurt! The location is the only good thing about this house - very close to downtown and beaches.

    I loved the old fashioned charm of this place.
    We loved this charming, old cape house. We would even rent it again. I did want to mention that the upstairs toilet needs some attention. It flushes fine but is alarmingly noisy and continues this loud noise for several minutes. Also, the bike tires don’t hold air and need some maintenance. Had I known the shape they were in, we would have brought our own. Both of these problems are very minor but worth mentioning . We loved the location and the feel of the home. Bonus points for a screened in porch which I hadn’t even noticed in the listing.

    Loved our stay!
    My group absolutely loved our stay at this house. The location to Main Street and the shops and restaurants in town is unmatched. Beautiful yard, ample parking and plenty of room for our group to relax! We will be back for sure!
