This place was fantastic - what a great hotel - very clean, with excellent service. All the staff went out of their way to make our trip wonderful beyond all expectations! Also, the pillows & sheets and the bed was so comfortable. We loved it!!
Only real issue I had was upon sitting on a plastic Adirondack chair, I fell straight through it. If I had noticed it broken prior would not have sat down. Did cut up my sides and bruised from the plastic but otherwise I’m ok thankfully.
This is not a “hotel”. It is set up and run like a MOTEL. Rooms are accessed along outside walkways. Rooms are clean but BASIC. As it’s really meant for the beach, there is no carpeting but rather flooring which is good to clean away sand but uncomfortable if you’re wanting something plush for your bare feet. Bed was comfortable enough but TV stations were lacking, toiletries minimal and poor quality, and there is only rather uncomfortable chair in addition to the bed. Lighting was mediocre in the bathroom. The coffee maker and mini fridge were good to have and needed as there aren’t any real facilities in site for drinks and food, aside from the ubiquitous vending machine. Aside from cleaning staff there was only one other person working the place that I could see. It’s about 15min by foot to the main drag in P-town. Parking is easy and it’s clean but there’s no homey aspects at all. It IS good for privacy if you’re not into the B&B intrusiveness. Still, not worth the price.
We love the vibe here. Very family & pet friendly. The pool & grounds are beautiful. Our room was nice & clean, so all in all, a wonderful stay!
A four o’clock check-in seems really late. We arrived ad 3:45 and our room wasn’t ready until 4:25 (we have two small children, so this was a challenge). The floors were grimy and sticky. We asked to have the floors cleaned twice and nobody came to clean our room at all. Finally after complaining a third time, they serviced the room (after hours). The pool is a free-for-all that is open to the public and has yucky stuff floating around. We also didn’t like that people were smoking in front of their rooms and around the pool (again, we have small children). We booked an extra day in advance and they cut our keys off on the last day. When we tried to complain at the front desk, the woman would not listen, she tried to blame us and she was completely rude and unprofessional. Nothing like arguing with the front desk lady during a “relaxing” vacation on our wedding anniversary! She got one key working at least. This was our worst hotel experience and we will never come back ere.
Rooms were clean and bright, can’t beat the proximity to the beach!
Hotel staff was amazing and helpful and informant when i had a question or a situation, they went out of their way to help in any way they could thanks and will be staying here again
Great hote! The fire pits were amazing! Relaxing in the Hamic‘s and taking a dive in the pool was wonderful!
Friendly staff and management and management; comfortable, modern rooms with fully functional AC and plumbing (not always true in some places in Provincetown); large screen TV with cable; restsurant; and a big pool.
Overpriced for what you get - hotel prices with motel service - they make you check out at 11am and check in only at 4pm! Too late! They are surviving at those rates purely based on their location just across from the beach... otherwise they would not stay in business long at the rates they charge, $400 a night! This is a $200 a night hotel charging double in summer for location alone. Won’t stay again.
Hotel is gross dirty and is not worth what they charge for the rooms ! Motel quality service and NOT family friendly. Our sink and tub water was not draining and room was not clean until 4 pm . Our multiple requests were ignored and staff had attitude with anything we asked them . Very poor service .
Beds are comfy w extra pillows. Nice lobby area w wifi and free coffee, tea, apples. Get in 2nd floor for sea view room. Bottom floor is all cars in the parking lot. The pool and garden views seem more private and are less money. Great deal for the price.
I recently stayed for just one night but I wish it was longer. The hotel itself is a little outdated, but I think that adds to their retro style. While I wouldn't give them 5 stars for their appearance, I would definitely give them 5 (or more if possible) for the staff and the good time we had. Armand and Keith were the highlight of my stay. Fun, entertaining, & hardworking. I was able to take a peek at the dinning area for a wedding reception going on that day. Simply gorgeous. Great transformation. Steps from the beach & close to downtown. Would recommend!
Beds very comfortable. Water pressure and lighting in bathroom quite good - good amenities in bathroom.
My family go to cape cod every year , this hotel is our favorite. Hotel is clean, service is quick and friendly, has a bar and a restaurant on site is a plus. Then come the best, location of this hotel, a city bus stops right in front of the hotel, to Provincetown is only a ten minutes ride cost two dollars , so convenient.
Cool comfy clean. fire pit with lots of seats to sit around and enjoy the beatiful evening Big open restaurant/bar with pool table and big screen tvs Coffee and tea bar set up for patrons Helpful friendly staff who arranged our whale watch trip Place is old but been updated as much as possible. We loved our stay and hope to visit P-town again.
Hotel well located on front of beach. Well received by hotel staff. Room was comfortable and bathroom clean. Good WIFI. TV controller did not work well with TV brand. Hotel has two buildings. We were assigned to the back building so could not enjoy the view of the ocean and bay. Hotel had swimming pool and bar by the swimming pool. Cleanliness of the grill area not the best. Nice size breakfast area and breakfast menu.
