Hamptons look pretty much all the same and this one no exception. When booking I mistakenly thought it was away from busy highway with excessive road noise but exit took you a mile away from I495 then right back to it on side streets into an industrial park. My husband spends over 100 nights a year in Hilton brand hotels so is a Diamond member and I am always completely perplexed when we are booked into the worst possible rooms. Don't expect any status consideration from the front desk team here. They had a huge wedding party already checked in when we arrived just after 3 pm and they were boarding charter busses which had people traffic in lobby just crazy and almost no rooms available when we requested to be on front side away from highway in our 3 rooms for our family group. We had booked all double queen rooms and were asked if we really needed two beds...I think because most of a softball tournament was also checking in right when we arrived and they need those type of rooms for them. The desk clerk did not request assistance even though there were at least 6 groups in line until we got to the front after about 20 minutes in line and she couldn't accommodate our requests so brought forth a manager I believe, who told us the same story as the desk clerk. The only available rooms were either on the road side or were rooms on the first floor with headboards abutting the prep area for breakfast (103) and the stairwell (101) and exit door where all the smokers seemed to enter and exit with extreme regularity. Though they were upgraded studio style rooms, their location made them less desirable than a standard room on a higher floor. On the first night when hotel was at capacity the noise from the stairwell and exit door bothered our family members into the wee hours of the morning and we had a near constant thumping noise of unknown origin until midnight and beginning again at about 530 am. Thankfully the wedding and tournament checked out after one night so we slept better during the night only to be awoken shortly after 7 am by the groundskeeper team who ran the mower that required hearing protection for its operator directly under our window for several passes to assure we were awake after having had a late night the night before. Thanks. There were a couple of positives and that was the housekeeping staff who did a great job. I was also very pleased to have a cotton blanket in the closet to avoid the dreadful duvet that makes me feel like I am suffocating because it does not breathe...and of course is a staple of all Hilton properties. In this past month we have been in five different Hamptons and the two in MA (the one in Sturbridge on the MA pike was really bad) had similar issues with poor locations with excessive road noise. I guess the bottom line to this review is that I find the Hilton brand standard fare has become one of my least favorite things about traveling. We have had brand loyalty for ten or more years now and the offerings are getting really stale. On the rare occasions we have veered away, I find Wyndham and Marriott beds and bedding are much more comfortable. I am anxious for my husband's work contracts to end so we can frequent a different loyalty program, one that will treat its status members like they are valued more than a bottle of water and snack bar.
Hotel staff was very friendly, our room was clean and ready for us. It was comfy and quiet we did not have time for the pool, but it looked nice! Same with the breakfast. We liked that it was not on the highway
Very accommodating great place to stay. I used the wake up call system and found everything to be enjoyable. Everyone was friendly. It is clean and a great place to stay. The complementary breakfast was a bonus.
The location is convenient right next to offices such as Akamai, Juniper networks and close to grocery stores such as Whole Foods and also freeway access is close by. The rooms and facilities were excellent and breakfast was great !
There was nothing negative to say about this hotel. Staff was pleasant and cooperative, room was spacious and clean, hotel accommodated an early arrival (planned), location convenient, morning breakfast offered abundant choice and was very tasty. I can not think of a better choice.
I stay at this hotel regularly on business. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel is always clean and well maintained. The one negative is that the rooms on the back side (Interstate Highway Side) can be noisy at night.
The room was clean, which is of most importance. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was ok....options for not food were a bit limited but not a deal breaker. Overall a good place to stay and convenient to shopping areas without being in the middles of it.
The location was what I need. The price was reasonable and the stay included breakfast which allowed us to eat before getting back on the road. The room was very nice. However, we did hear noise from the people in the room above us.
My room was clean and smelled clean. The staff was outstanding!!!! My room was nice and relaxing, no outside noice could be heard. Lots of towels too! The bed and pillow super comfortable. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms but that was ok. Breakfast was great and restaurants within walking distance.
Great place, as long as your room is not on the highway side. Great room and clean. Digital key and room selection worked quite well. Not particularly thrilled with the breakfast (powdered eggs and potatoes), but at least they have oatmeal and fruit.
