I stayed during one of our bad autumn storms and was warm and comfy as the winds and rain came down. I was having work done on my house and and really appreciated their more than reasonable pet policy. The staff were friendly (if overworked) and the room was mostly clean. On the down side, I did have to wash some of the room's dishes again before I could use them. And breakfast choices didn't seem to get refreshed. If you got there early, choices were good. And the desk staff always seemed to have a couple of people waiting for them -- needed some help? But having a small kitchen and a warm, comfy room is so great when all you want to do is hunker down in a safe place with your pet. Overall, I would stay again in a minute.
What a pleasant experience. The front desk people are so nice. They welcome you warmly and always say hello. My only suggestion is ti add some more breakfast serial choices. Such as regular cheerios without sugar. Or corn flakes or rice krispies. Some basics. I will be returning.
Today I experience a first in all the years I have traveled for business. I stay in hotels over 130 nights per year in my business travels. Today upon returning to my hotel room at the Residence Inn Westford, I discovered that someone (most likely housekeeping) had entered my room while I was at work, and had left two large "deposits" of feces in the toilet in my bathroom. This was beyond repulsive and disgusting. The entire room smelled horrible, and the front desk, though somewhat apologetic, offered no solution to the situation and refused to let me speak to a manager. I am afraid to eat any of the food that I had placed in the refigerator due to the fact that whomever left the turds in the toilet may have messed with some of my other belongings such as my food or toothbrush. I am appalled that a hotel, and a Marriott property at that, would allow this type of employee to work at their establishment. I cannot stress strongly enough that you should avoid this hotel at all costs as it is completely unacceptable to have hotel staff that could and would experience such vile, subhuman behavior. The hotel offered no correction to the solution except a lukewarm "apology" from the night staff and an offer that I could change rooms. Why? The same disgusting staff would still have access to my room and personal belongings.
The Residency in Westford Ma was quite impressive. My suite was laid out very nice. Very clean and comfortable. The most impressive part was how polite and accommodating the staff was. Awesome place to stay.
This hotel has been around for many many years. At this point its beginning no to show its age. The rooms however are clean and the entire service staff are first rate. Also close to route 495 for easy access to Boston and places of interest to the north. Very reasonably priced.
I was a little apprehensive entering the property. There was a lot of activity near the lobby and children playing on the sports court. The woman at the front desk said the Charles River Regatta was being held that weekend in Boston and it brings participants and spectators from all over. What I value above all else at a hotel is quiet. I was anticipating children running down the halls and lots of slamming doors. I'm happy to say none of this happened. Aside from the usual heating/ac unit noise this was one of the quietest places we stayed. Our room was a two bedroom queen suite with each bedroom having a full bath. Each bedroom also had it's own smart TV as well as a smart TV in the living room. We also had a full kitchen with a table that would seat a family of four. We only stayed one night so our only interaction with staff was the woman at the front desk. She couldn't have been more pleasant and informative. The hotel is located near several restaurants, gas stations and retail businesses. I will return here when I'm back in this area.
The Residence Inn on Westford deserves a 5 stars rate. They are located in a really calm location, but still close to many marketplaces and restaurants (Bamboo is 200 meters away), just perfect for people on business or the ones who just want to sleep well. Their service is amazing. People who really care about their guests, genuinely friendly and dedicated. I saw them throwing a surprise birthday party for a guest, which was obviously away from her loved ones. The hotel is clean and the pool looks like well maintained (I didn't try it)
We are Marriott Rewards members so we enjoy staying here for the points opposed to another brand. Rooms are spacious and clean. Close to a lot of things. Weekend rates are less than weekday and jump from Saturday evening to Sunday evening. Probably cause there is a lot of business travelers and they get more from them. Easy to find right off 495. Oh, and pet friendly cause we bring the pup sometimes.
The ladies at the front desk were beyond accommodating and made sure I had I quiet room on the third floor knowing I was here for long days of business. For the price this is the best hotel I've stayed in. Beds are comfy and rooms very clean! A+!
Only 3 hours from home, but really needed a break - hot, bright sun, heavy tourist traffic, almost out of gas, needed a restroom...so I took the next exit and checked my GPS - the Marriott came up, and I decided to take a chance. So glad I did! What a beautiful facility. Very friendly desk manager, who made a huge fuss over my dog, and gave me an overview of the amenities. My room was large and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and the coffee was great. The buildings are set way back from the highway in an attractive corporate park. I could go on, but you get the idea. Visit the website for this Marriott to see the full list.
