I stayed overnight while passing through for a contract. The front desk staff member at check-in was very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. The room itself was average and included a microwave and small refrigerator, which was a nice convenience. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a large see-through window on the ground floor with no curtain or shade, along with an exterior light, which made it uncomfortable to use. I did not feel comfortable showering and had to place a towel over part of the window for privacy just to use the bathroom. Additionally, the walls were extremely thin. There was frequent noise from doors slamming and people knocking on doors late into the night, which also set off a dog barking. The noise continued until around 1 a.m. Due to the lack of sleep, I left around 6 a.m. to finish my drive. While the staff was friendly, the privacy and noise issues made this a less restful stay.

Agreed a 1 am check in. No one was there, so had to find the hotel number and then wait for a very groggy person to slowly amble across the courtyard to the front desk. Then he had to climb through the window to get into reception! Then I finally got into the room and immediately wished I hadn’t! Worst room ever, not clean, hair on the bed covers. I think the hotel owner had an air. Above my room, as it was a one story motel but I heard kids running around above me as of 6 am. Nightmare motel! Please do not stay here!

Comfortable bed, but loud stay

Comfortable bed, but loud stay. Sounded like someone was stomping up and down most of night. Hotel needs to update and upgrade amenities- no ice machine, no standing ironing board. Property around needs some up keep as well. The backyard view from our room wasn’t the best. They advertise a tranquil retreat but it’s an average motel stay.

Falling apart.

This was the most dilapidated hotel I have ever been in. The bathroom ceiling had peeling paint. The main door to the room wouldn't close unless you slammed your hip in to it. The shower and sink did not have drain stoppers and were rusted out. The tile had mildew. The cabinets were missing handles and the floors were dirty. We had booked a 4 night stay and checked out after one day. The owner said he would return our money for the remaining nights once Hotels.com contacted him but days later, Hotels.com contacted me to inform me that the Minuteman Inn is refusing to refund me. I would have taken pictures, but once the sun rose, we were out of there.

Property was in need of repairs, beds were ok, had very noisy neighbours and the walls are thin, so kept us awake until 3am. Wouldn’t stay again
