Sea Crest Beach Hotel

A 5 star location with a 4 star facility. I realize that the patrons choose this hotel because of the beautiful salt water beach but it would be nice to have an HD TV picture for the small amount of time spent in your room. I was disappointed in poor picture quality while attempting to watch both the Patriots and Red Sox games.

5th year here, staff is always great! Reservations staff at the hotel was great and the front desk and other staff superb and helpful! Marley in the restaurant is just the best! Glad to see her still here this year!! Forgot the name of the reservation person I wanted to commend for her customer service but she was not manager! Great hotel and beach! However prices have seemed to really increase over the past few years and they charge a summer program fee of $25 each day which is quite a lot on top of the $$$ room!! But looking forward to already going back next year!!

the take out restaurant and outdoor bar get very crowded- probably because the hotel sells summer memberships - so more of a bar scene than relaxing resort. So not really a family place.

The location is great..but the hotel was just ok. The room was weird shaped and a little dirty. The hotel is old and smelled musty. The outdoor pool was unavailable due to cleaning at 3 pm??? The restaurant Reds was very good, but blinding sun and no shades on windows?? I would say no worth the price to be on the beach.

This is our second time staying at the Seacrest.. We love the location right on the beach.. I would recommend. Little pricey through.

This hotel is hard to rate. Our room was very dusty, stains on window curtains (one of which looked possibly like mold), the toilet was really bad. There was old caked on stuff in the toilet bowl. The shower drains were littered with hair that was not ours. The staff was attentive and came to clean the toilet once we called down. Problem is the smell bleach was so bad we had to move rooms. The next room was a little better but still had many stains on the rug and was dusty. This hotel is literally on the ocean. Steps away from a sandy beach and amazing viewed. I am thinking they are rated so high because of that and because they possibly do a better job during their busy season. In the end great location but a tired property. Cleanness and maintenance don't seem to be in tip top shape.

Nice location, perfect beach, room not clean, mold and A/C did not work well.

The Sea Crest is a beautiful location and has been undergoing some great renovations. The staff was excellent!

Enjoyed a standard room with a nice view of the ocean (room had double beds, coffee maker, large TV, and frig). These rooms are quite expensive during the summer, so it's a nice deal when staying there "off season". Room was very clean and comfortable, and bathroom was large and clean with plenty of towels. Didn't use any amenities, but the indoor pool and jacuzzi looked quite nice and several vacationers were using it. The front desk staff was very courteous and allowed us to check in early, which was very accommodating #we called ahead with this request#. Checkout is at 11AM, while most resorts make guests leave at 10AM, so we enjoyed the extra hour there. Only complaints we have are: -- Would be nice to have a microwave in the room to heat up our coffee -- Coffee served in the restaurant and the cafe was lukewarm #both the caffeinated and decaffeinated# -- No weekend breakfast buffet in the restaurant #really enjoyed it the last time we stayed#

Rooms were very clean, and staff was very helpful , and Great view from ocean side rooms

We were hopeful that our room would be really nice considering that we payed $250 during the off-season. We got to our "king" room to find a double bed after navigating to what seemed like the back alley of the hotel to get there. The room itself was fine, but the bed was small and it was not worth the money. We went to the buffet breakfast the following morning and I had to bring my omlette back up because the eggs in the middle were uncooked, got back to my table and they still weren't cooked. The room was also swarming with fruit flies (the window sills had to have hundreds on them). I think this place might be better during the summer, but I was really not impressed with our stay this weekend. Definitely not worth the money,

Very nice place to stay - Make sure you ask for an ocean front room, as the ocean views don't have the greatest view.

Great location on the shore, relaxing atmosphere. You can walk on the beach or swim, steps from your room. Great place to take trips in nearby places.

Everything was good, until we left. We forgot umbrella in the room. We called front desk and they told somebody will call us. nobody called. My husband called again and talked to the manager, He said he will find out and call back. He never called back either. Very disappoint how they handle it. I heard from other people that hotel always have the same respond . Do not forget anything in the room .

Just stayed with my kids. Great location, big perfect beach steps from room, nice facilities, indoor pool, good food at restaurant. Not sure of price during peak season but reasonable price in March... Would definitely stay again.

everything was fabulous. The hotel is oceanside and the room was very clean. The air conditioner was a bit noisy and dated but we slept with the windows open. The pools were also clean and warm.

staff very pleasant and helpful. On the beautiful beach they put out chairs and umbrellas on request. Plenty in supply. Had a Lobster Roll on the beach from the Reds take out menu. Lots of families with children. We were there on a weekend in August

The staff is very friendly and do what they can to accommodate. The Room are updated to match any new holiday inn style room. It is peak season so get your space RSVP on the beach early. The breakfast buffet is decent the fresh waffles were the best. The indoor / outdoor pool was at the perfect temp and the towel were the nice puffy type and not the typical one you get at a pool. We ordered at the Reds take out window. It was a bit slow and the burger and hot dogs got burnt. Some of the staff manning the takeout window seemed overwhelmed or just confused. But when we ordered food from the waitstaff on the beach it was a much better experience. The Tuna salad good, This time the hot dog was good also and the Fish and chips very good especially the seasoned tarter. The sand on the beach was combed every night and had little rocks. Overall I look forward to booking again next year.

Good value for the beach location. Service is improved from the previous trips. Better umbrellas and towers on the beach.

Nice hotel and great location with food/drink service on beach as well as outdoor food/drink service by bar and indoor pool area. Kids had a blast and was great to be able to walk right onto beach
