Regarding Replacement Towels, we requested to replace towels for Bath when we checked in, we’ve talked about replacement towels for couple of minutes, but you didn’t explain they will be charged. We haven’t asked about the fee because we never expect replacement towels will be charged. Never been charged at any other hotels before. We wanted you to let us know they will be charged when we asked. In addition, we asked Towels for BATH, but you put towels for POOL. We regret that we didn’t get the service we requested, and charged without any explanation.

The resort is a bunch of motel-like building. We arrived at night and with the poor outdoor lighting they have, it took us an hour to find ours. The suite is OK, but lack any character. The worst thing about it is the lighting--it takes a long time to figure out where the switches are. Some guests might be satisfied, but If oner is looking for a "real Berkshire" experience, I strongly recommend staying away!

This was our third year of two summer weeks at Oak 'n' Spruce. The accommodations are comfortable and convenient, and the staff is wonderful. We hope to be back next summer.

The property is great! Lots of amenities and family friendly. We enjoyed Jorge at the resort bar! His service was top notch. Check in was slow and when we added an additional night, the front desk neglected to reset our room keys so when we returned to our room after being at the pool all day, we were locked out. Luckily we had a cell phone and were able to call the front desk but we had to walk to the front desk which was in another building on site with our pool stuff and kids to have them reset the keys. Wish they could have handled this better. There wasn’t much sympathy for us being inconvenienced. We will know next time.

I liked the size of the rooms and how comfortable everything in the room was. It was stocked with everything we needed. I did not like the lack of accessibility for people with disabilities. There are elevators, but they are blocked, and there is limited disability parking. I was on the third floor so this was a challenge for me as I have mobility issues. I also did not like the "resort fee." The cost of staying here is quite high, and the additional fee is a bit unnecessary, I feel. They also charge for more towels, which is ridiciulous. What are we paying for if there is a resort fee and a charge for towels? The staff was helpful and responsive, but that does not make up for the high cost and additional fees.

Enjoyed our stay.

Our family stay was very nice. We took advantage of the large outdoor pool and the mini golf on site. The property is in a very beautiful woodsy minimally developed area. The unit was fine but not great. The cabinets are generally old looking and water-moisture damaged. All was workable but 5 star it is not. The garbage disposal did not work until I thought it might just be a fuse. Indeed once I found the “disposal” fuse switch, I flicked it off and on and that fixed it. Turns out the toaster also didn’t work when plugged into same socket housing the disposal. The body wash dispenser in ground floor shower was empty. Sheets for sofa bed required a call to front desk. Quickly supplied with 1 call! Service for extra paper towel etc was fast and easy. A big plus. The kitchen area was more than sufficient even though it looks dated and old. I give poor grades for indoor pool area and the fitness center. Pool felt like a parking garage and exercise equipment was 2 stars. All in all the place was a nice place for our family of 3 adults and 2 young children to spend a very nice 4 days together. Compared to other pricier options nearby the Holiday Inn Club was a good value.

Quick getaway!

Loved the property, room was clean and had everything you needed!! We had an upgrade that was wonderful!! Only downfall was the outside little deck! No privacy all out In the open, side by side and facing the other units with a walkway in front of it!! Was looking forward to sitting out side but ended up not using it at all.

Wonderful SPACIOUS spotless unit with full kitchen, table and chair set, lovely forest view deck, two bathrooms, separate bedrooms and a comfortable sleep sofa!! Only problem was that there was no elevator to take our pieces of luggage to the third level. And we are Senior citizens! Otherwise, a great facility!
