Overflowing with character, lots of fun staying there this week.

great location. nice old hotel. not for everyone but I like the historical side of it.

Beautiful! Authentic, old, quaint, tons of character!

The ambiance of theRed Lion Inn is wonderful. The dining room and the porch are so lovely and relaxing. The staff is excellent....but the room was VERY worn. There were two torn and stained upholstered chairs.... And the furniture was old and damaged. More attention may be needed to the rooms.

Dining is fabulous we had dinner and breakfast in main dining room - both superb

I liked the property is quite. I didn’t like their false statement on pet friendly and their additional preservation fees that were not shown up when I booked the rooms.

There is no place like the Red Lion Inn. Our 2nd time staying in the Main House (one other time in an off-site building). The ambiance is amazing, the staff more so. It is well worth the cost of a night to feel special & absorb the history.

Great history in this old hotel. From the old beams in the original building to the antiques and artworks in the hallways, this place exudes its colonial origins. It’s setting in the Berkshires is beautiful. The dining options were excellent.

The drive was easy and the location was excellent for our purpose of the visit. It was a pleasant stay but the hotel does need some major upgrading. The age of the hotel is most obvious.

Truly a grand old Hotel with an awesome lobby area that transports you back in time. More of a B&B feel in the rooms than your standard Hilton or Marriott. The dining room was terrific for dinner but not for lunch. My wife had a Thanksgiving turkey sandwich and the turkey was dry chewy and not very appealing. The alleged squash soup was tasteless anesthetic as a side of butternut squash with no flavor. On the other hand the dinner was awesome. Panseared trout on creamy polenta was delicious. The town is a classic in striking distance of all the Berkshires has to offer from Lennox to great Barrington

We love the Red Lion Inn. It's quirkiness is it's asset. Every room is slightly different. Some are a little worn but that's part of the charm - everything is clean and the antiques and pictures etc. are all REAL - nothing from the shopping mall here. Beds are supremely comfortable. Bathrooms are fine, towels are plush. Cable television channels are a bit weak but we don't come here for TV. We love the dining room - it's very romantic actually and the food is very good. There's also a nice tavern and a room downstairs with music in the evenings and a bar menu. The smell from the fireplace in the fall/winter is wonderful. It's cozy and nice and the staff are great, we love coming here.

Everything was great, service was excellent. Only issues were a motor running until 12 midnight to power the pump for the outdoor Jacuzzi/pool, and the backup beeping noises of trucks at 2 different times during the period 3-6 AM which awakened us. Otherwise A-OK.

Older hotel with lots of charm and history. Dinner was excellent. Easy walk around town and central location for everything the Berkshires has to offer. Unbeknownst to us there was a problem with the plumbing in our room which was affecting an area below. They alerted us immediately, kept us in the loop throughout and when it did not seem it was going to be remedied quickly, moved us to an even nicer room, along with a bottle of wine and chocolates for the inconvenience.

We had a lovely stay at the Red Lion Inn. The room was decorated with antiques, there was a bear clawed tub in our bathroom, the house cat even stopped by to welcome us. The dinner we had in their dining room was one of our best ever. Only down sides, no coffee maker in the room (though the small fridge was nice), and an awkward trip through the tavern past diners with or rolling suitcases to reach the back elevator. Then again, that was part of its charm, too.

I stayed at The Stevens House - guest house - this time. It was absolutely charming and magical! White picket fence, dew on the lawn, old-fashioned tennis court across the street and old church on the corner. The staff was amazing in terms of directions, help with the TV remote, and even how to adjust the a/c. Food, of course, is the freshest and the richest. :)

Our 20th wedding anniversary - perfect choice for a spot to celebrate.

Having grown up in Pittsfield, I had never stayed at the Red Lion. From helpful people at the front desk, to piano playing folks near the restaurant, to friendly bartenders and delicious food, the Inn is great. We loved walking around and looking at the artwork and antiques collections in the hotel. The room itself was cozy and comfortable.

The Red Lion Inn is a very nice place to stay, The staff are great, very helpful is everything you may need, The room was above average, (the fireplace in the room was fake) I think the took the original fire place out because of insurance reasons, They had a restraunt, and a bar with live entertainment, that was open late, the prices of the room was good for what you received, and I thought the restraunt was overpriced for what you received (a small portion for a large price) and I think they could do better on the restraunt part $36.00 for a 12 oz prime rib and $32.00 for a 8 oz sword fish (with no salad everything allacart Is a bit steep I think, but that is my only complaint (and to be expected in a nice place like this one) Overall I recomend, and I will stay again!!!
