First of all the hotel is nice and has a lot of updated things. Yes the pool is packed with kids and with parents that just don't care . I booked everything on here, just to have a long weekend and to get away . Everything was ok but this morning 4 days after check out I just got double billed from the hotel . Staff was nice and hotel was nice but more of a party place , I guess you get what you pay for . I would not tell and one to stay here or if you do watch your bill.

I checked into the hotel around 4a.m. after driving 18 hrs., only to have the hotel charge me for a room I already paid for online. Nobody told me I was being charged again for the room. I was told that they would swipe my card for incidentals. When I noticed this about noon, I immediately called the front desk and was told that I was mistaken and that I wasn’t charged. Confused, I called my bank and sure enough close to $400 was removed from my account. So I called back and was told that a manager would call my bank and straighten it out. Nothing happened. I called back a couple hrs. later, and asked again, making sure to express that I was 800 miles from home and couldn’t afford to have $400 disappear like that, not on vacation. I was told then that the manager was inspecting rooms and would call me back. Nothing happened. I called again to the front desk, around 4:30, and told the clerk that I needed that matter resolved since it was near to close of business. I was told that the manager was with a customer and would get right back to me. I gave the clerk my cell number and asked to be called, as I was close to being late to my oldest child’s graduation. Needless to say, this is bad business practice to just take someone’s money without telling them and then delaying resolving the issue. I DON’T HAVE $400 TO JUST LOSE THAT WAY. My vacation was ruined. I couldn’t even take my son out to dinner for his graduation. I was extremely disappointed since this was a matter that could have been handled if the employees did their job. The next morning the manager called and stated to me that she never intended to call my bank as she didn’t have any of my bank information. I replied that someone should have told me that yesterday instead of avoiding me. The attitude came across as one who was attempting to blame the victim. I only wish they were as kind as the housekeeping staff, who were wonderful.

Just needed a place to sleep that was quiet and comfortable. Could walk to the mall, and restaurants. Very convenient.

Stayed here for 1 night while do the College Tour. Friendly staff, very clean, regular cont breakfast. We were very pleased.

Hotel staff were welcoming. Room was attractive and generally clean although the housekeeping staff failed to wash out the dirty coffee carafe and empty the ice bucket on day 2. There were two design flaws that undoubtedly occur at other hotels: with two people in the same room, the lighting is bright and general. I had to read at the desk with a towel over the light so as not to bother my sister who was trying to sleep. Also, and more importantly, we had a handicapped room and the bathroom was a challenge. There was no where to hang a towel while bathing. More importantly, the bathroom floor when wet was very slippery. We ended up having all our towels on the floor to avoid a problem. The tiles might not present a problem if one has on shoes, but anyone who showers does not! My father had the same problem at another hotel. He almost fell. This is an accident waiting to happen. They had only one computer. Two would have been helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights over Thanksgiving. Don't expect much from the front desk staff in terms of hospitality (no smile). The rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. The a/c (heater) is loud when the motor kicks in. The hotel photos show LCD flat panel TV but our rooms do not have that. Free internet is nice.

double charge
