We liked being out of the busy part of Gatlinburg but still being very close to the busy part. The staff was very nice. The room was older but clean. The best part was the brook out the back door. You can hear the rushing water from inside the room and it was relaxing to sit on the back porch area beside the brook. The breakfast was good. The event center where breakfast was self-served was very nice. It was very quiet inside and outside the room.

They have a nice outdoor pool, the sound of the creek is nice and relaxing. The breakfast was pretty good. Its only about a 10 minute walk to downtown and there is a trolly stop out front that is free to ride. While there we got to see a bear right outside!

The front door had an inch gap underneath it. The back door knob was loose. I didn’t stay because it wasn’t safe. Looks NOTHING like the pictures. I went inside the room, looked at it, and left.

Brookside Lodge-Gatlinburg

The Brookside Lodge was in a great, quite location that was very close to Gatlinburg. We saw wildlife and enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was very friendly. The room was very nice and clean.

First time staying here. Liked the property. Was clean for the most part. Maintenance needed in room on a couple things. Loved having a balcony on the river. Went to breakfast one morning, just got coffee and a banana. Parking was easy. Not alot of people there but we were put on 4th floor. Next time we will request lower level, just a personal preference. Rooms have woodburning fireplace. We didnt use and was a bit curious about safety of others using theirs if they dont have experience. Overall a nice stay and look forward to staying again

Great view!

The view from our balcony was great. One morning we saw a bear below us in the creek. Very cool. There are no stairs to the 2nd floor, just a steep ramp. Pool was great.

Wonderful, peaceful stay

We love Brookside Lodge / Resort! Everything from check in to check out was wonderful . Our balcony room overlooked a rushing river and the sound of it was heavenly. We wished we weren’t moving on so fast, but we will definitely be back.
