Room had an odd smell and headboard was covered in nasty yellow stains

I enjoyed all of the amenities! There are lots of things to do and places to eat around them.

Our stay was fine, the room was clean and the property was relatively quiet, my only beef was my room was on the main floor, but I had a pretty big water leak coming from the bathroom air vent?? Kind of strange that water comes from an bathroom fan? But, if my union fitter hubby was still on earth he would have explained that one. They said it will be fixed.

Staff is very friendly. Goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.

My comments reflect what others have said. The room was clean and relatively comfortable. In spite of banging and pounding through the walls (a common complaint for me) and thoughtless people slamming doors, I slept well, and that is my highest priority. Others complained about odors. My room smelled like 5-year-old popcorn, mixed with....maybe a chemical or something. I assume it was coming from the microwave oven. After an hour or so in the room, I no longer noticed it. The A/C, bathroom and all were fine. In the morning, I needed to check out and be on my way. My shirt was wrinkled, so I went for the iron from the closet. Board was there, but no iron. No time to go the office, so I had a wrinkled shirt that day. I had the impression that this place was not well-maintained, as some of the drawer handles were broken, and such. Lots of nicks and dings here and there- just an impression it left. Summary: Other than all of that, it was a decent stay. I said above I would not recommend to a friend, but really, if other places nearby were full and I needed to do so, I would stay here again. The place was pretty clean, and the people were nice.

Good location right around corner from harbor blvd away from Disneyland area hotels which made it quieter

Because there is not housekeeping of course the rooms and corridors are not really clean. Besides, pets are allowed. You should let us know in advance of this so the customer can decide right.

The rooms are fantastic--a huge value especially if you are going to Disney. My family of four rest comfortably in this room with a kitchen--which was great. I thought we were getting a pullout sofa bed, and we didn't. The staff also doesn't clean the room daily which wasn't wasn't when you have two preschoolers (and one in diapers). If you are traveling wo kids, this is perfect! For people with young kids, the amount of space in the room is perfect, but you will want to ask for the room to be clean daily.

great to be there always in the light of the mooon we make to the signal in the moon light

Rooms were better than as displayed in pictures. Staff was very friendly. Very close to Disneyland north entrance parking. Small missout, breakfast at the time of booking was mentioned as included but was not free. All items available in snacks room had a price tag.

Our room was not ready at check-in. When we got to the room , there was an odor in the room that stayed. The bedding was not complete and had hair on the bedding. The outdoor cooking area was not maintained and was dirty. There were weird people always hanging around. Woke up on 2nd morning and there was an awful stench like 3 day old raw sewage in the hallway. It smelled so bad we checked out a day early because it was starting to make us sick to our stomachs. The staff was told but did nothing to check it out. We will never reccomend this place to anyone

Wow! This hotel was 6 minutes away from Disneyland, great location. Came with frig, microwave, internet access, and bed was super comfy. My GPS worked great in the area. Target and Smart&Final were very close. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The whole family (grandparents and children) went and all enjoyed the hotel.

The place looked good but the staff was not friendly and the they would not clean our rooms but every 7 days and we were only there 3 days. sucked.

I have stayed here at the Candlewood Suites about 4-5 times. Honestly, for the price, the location and Pets being allowed, this place is worth it. This hotel comes with a small kitchen. 2 burners, a big refrigeration, a sink (other than the bathroom sink), a nice comfortable bed, a HUGE desk, for your computer work (or homework). The bathroom is amazingly huge, and the shower is great to wake up to in the morning. The hotel does not have breakfast in the morning. That's about the only downside. Multiple entrances into the hotel.

enjoyed my stay. the room were great. enjoyed the fact that they are very pet friendly. very quiet hotel. great staff.

Would not stay here again, or at another Candlewood Suites based on my experience here. I can handle that they're undergoing renovation, but my renovated room was awful. Reeked of cigarettes, 3 floppy pillows and no additional pillows available from the front desk, missing face plates over electrical outlets in the bathroom, tv was messed up and made an awful static noise every several seconds, setup of the room made no sense with a giant armchair next to the bed that prevented access to the bed.

I'm sure most of you have the same idea of checking into a place in this area to go to disney if the trip is too far. I did the same thing and I was glad I chose this place. It's literally like 3 minutes away from disney parking and the staff was awesome from when I checked in till I checked out. They were all polite and as helpful as can be. Not to mention since I work out on a regular basis, I thought I was going to miss out but they have their own gym on site. Now my only complaint is that, the curtains the big heavy ones didn't close. All that was closed was the little thin ones and it made me feel a little awkward when someone passed by, but I checked out for reassurance and it is impossible to look in unless you actually stand there.

We stayed there from Fri till Sunday. The bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. When we returned on Saturday from our convention, the room was un-touched. I called for clean towels and they said I had to go to the front desk and get them myself, and they only clean the rooms every 7 days. The hot water kept going out, and the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke, even though it was a non smoking room. I prefer my room be cleaned and new towels as well, so we plan on staying elsewhere from now on when going to the convention.

A perfect long term hotel.

A very stingy and dirty place, they only service every 7 days, so you're out of luck if your there for 4-6 days..watch out for the roaches!!
