Very close to everything. Restaurants, grocery stores, urgent care, Starbucks.

Clean and spacious king room. Pool clean (a little chilly for me) but no hot tub due to Covid-19. That was disappointing. Also, I had reserved a king room with whirlpool soaking tub. I was changed to regular king room as they were not renting out that room ...again due to Covid. That fact was NOT on website when I booked. I would not have booked had I known. Could get just as nice king room in a different hotel for half the price.

It was a very clean room. There was nothing i did not like

very friendly, helpful staff. nice large, comfortable lobby and sitting area. Free coffee and water is a nice touch. thank you for the kind service.

I really liked the location of the hotel and how it was near restaurants and shopping centers. I also liked the breakfast that the hotel provided. What I didn’t like was when we first arrived to our room there was water on the bathroom floor. I called front desk and they had someone come in and clean up the water. Secondly, when we arrived for breakfast, which is not complementary, the cashier wanted to charge us even though we pre-paid with our room. She didn’t even bother to check if we were on the pre-paid list even though she ask for my last name and room number. Overall, I was slightly satisfied with my stay at the hotel. I just expect the hotel to be more professional.

Fast and easy check in. Very accommodating, I needed to change rooms from a King to two Queens and it was switched with no issue. Would definitely recommend.

Showers handle and control valves are loose required maintenance more often

Business travel isn’t exactly exciting when you have to stay in Clovis. It’s even worse when you’re stuck in a Hilton Garden Inn in a room with a tv that didn’t work. Then dips to a new low when you call the extremely unhelpful front desk woman who says the “maintenance guy has left.” Needless to say it was a long night and I will not be staying at this property again.

Very noisy heater, no bathroom vent to use, and a very strange master switch that unless on will not allow switches on.

excellent staff .very nice hotel , very close to shopping

Conveniently located nice hotel close to the 168 freeway.

My son and I were in town to attend an event at Fresno State. While we had to drive to this hotel, it was very close by car. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast that was available in the hotel's dining room: traditional hotel breakfast buffet, plus eggs, potatoes, and breakfast meat prepared to order, all for a very reasonable price. The strangest thing was that our room did not have functioning room-darkening curtains. There were sheer privacy curtains, but nothing to block the light, which was substantial from all of the business signs and traffic nearby. Otherwise, our stay was fine.

Was there for a conference in Clovis in May. Staff was extremely friendly. I did show up early and was not allowed to check-in until after 4pm due to graduations and them being at full capacity, but other than that it was smooth sailing. Room and bed were comfy. Food downstairs was pretty darn good considering it was in a hotel. Overall, it was good enough for what I needed.

The hotel was quite satisfactory given the options available in the city of Fresno. It was very clean and well maintained with the staff ( the only two that I dealt with given the nature of my trip being short and one night) being friendly. The location is decent and close to where it is happening in Fresno.

Great gem of a place, except for the hot water issues. Buffet breakfast rocks for $9.95, but no corn tortillas as a bread alternative is a no no in California. Especially if you're Latino and need a gluten free alternative.

For the price, this hotel was the best I've ever stayed at in the area. Quiet, clean and convenient.

For the price it was very nice and just close enough to the national parks to make this a very nice stay

I was a little disappointed that they did not have a continental breakfast but was very satisfied with the location and cleanliness.

The hotel was very nice, the only complaint that I would have is that during check-in the gal told us how to work the hot water and the lights, but never mentioned how the beds worked. Apparently the sleep number beds have controllers on the side of the bed itself not on the nightstand (found this out at check-out). Would have liked to know that before having 2 sleepless nights on a 'hard as a rock' mattress. No note was left on the bed or nightstand to explain either. Not sure how we were supposed to know since we don't own one.

I do believe this is the wrong hotel being reviewed. Our pool and spa have been closed since the beginning of the Covid-19 shutdown. Gates are locked and guests cannot enter. The whirlpool rooms are being rented and have been rented throughout the shutdown because they can be sanitized and not a crowd of people will be in the room as would be out at the pool. Please let me know what name you rented under, I am unable to find you under Lindam as well. Thank you. ahobbs@thevictusgroup.com
