Enjoyed the spa and breakfast buffet. Good location for zoo, and sequoia forest.

Nice hotel. Close to and important avenue. Easy access.

Quick, professional check in. Plenty of parking space. Spacious, clean, well equipped room. Nice grounds and facilities and fine breakfast. Would certainly book again.

When resetting the room they never bothered to reload the coffee cups and the water cups in the room aren't the right size to trigger the coffee-maker. Overall the hotel was clean, through sprawling and had the general feel of being in a city college dorms.

very clean and comfortable for an older hotel, great breakfast, great staff. could use an update to the rooms. Ill be back next year.

This was our second stay at this hotel and we love it. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is amazing. They could use some upgrades to the bathrooms as there is no ventilation and the shower pressure is a little wonky. We stay here because it's close to our daughter and grandkids. They like the place too because of the pool and plenty of places to explore. For us it's worth a few extra dollars because of the free breakfast and free tapas in the bar. We plan on staying here every time we visit.

I don't believe I've ever had a bad experience at this hotel, and it is the only one I will stay at when I'm in Fresno. Clean rooms, really comfortable layout of the grounds, the pool is beautiful, the breakfast very good, and I generally just enjoy staying here.

Practical, comfortable Love the staff help and attitude Nice restaurant-bar and ambience

Booked a couple of rooms for crew as we were doing a job in town. Hotel is well situated with shopping and dining options very close. Far enough away from the downtown area that you dont experience the zombie movie landscape that us there. Hotel has been remodeled. Lovely Libby and bar as you enter. Rooms are in separate blocks and the three I had over the visits there were spacious and clean. Some rooms, 161 was one, I think, are adjacent to the generator and laundry room. There is a constant whine you can hear even from inside the room. I asked to be switched and was moved very quickly and without fuss. All in all a good stay. Recommended.

My wife and I were in Fresno for a concert. We needed a nice place for the night. We were greeted nicely, the staff is friendly.. The lobby is clean and well appointed. The room Is large, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Best value in Fresno. Always pleased with my stay. Great beds, pillows and towels. Breakfasts are good too.

Good experience. Clean and quiet rooms. Good Internet service

Have gone there for years. Always enjoyable. Stately property.

Hotel staff really nice folks. Room is a bit dated, but overall very good value.

We arrived early from San Diego. We stopped at the hotel around 11am and told the gal working the front desk we were early and asked if it was possible to check in early. She was very polite and said she could, however, if we waited until after 12noon there would NOT be an extra charge. So we went next door and had lunch (awesome Italian food btw) and came back close to 1pm. The NEW gal behind the counter was NOT nice and said we could check in but that there would be a $30 charge. I explained that we had been in earlier and that we had been told that after 12 we were cool with no charge. This woman was rude and unpleasant and seemed more interested in rubbing our noses in something than listening to what we were telling her. She finally said 'I'll let is pass this time, but next time.....blah blah blah. There wont be a next time so it really didn't matter.

The Piccadilly Inn Shaw was a good place to rest for a very quick overnight stop after a 10-hour day of driving. The staff was kind, and the room was very basic. My major complaint is that the door to the room had a nearly 1-inch gap on the bottom between the floor. This allowed a lot of noise from the hallway into the room and I had to plug the gap with a rolled-up towel and pillow. We enjoyed the included free breakfast, though. Thanks for giving us a break on the long roadtrip!

Great hotel for the value, in a very nice and quiet neighborhood.

I booked the Picadilly Airport and ended up with a reservation at this one on Shaw. Had to pay twice, as customer no service was unavailable when we arrived in Fresno. Will never, ever use Orbitz, which is now owned by Expedia, where I had a similar experience and got no customer service as that hotel was in such bad repair that we left.

Adequate needs for our quick overnight stay. Love the spaciousness of the King room. No carpet in hallway of LaCosta building was cause for loud echoing voices when neighbors came and went.

Hotel has "hidden" costs, such as $50 per day "damage fee," which will never come off of your credit card bill. Be careful of Orbitz rates, as this is not the same rate as charged. When asked to get receipt for hotel "crediting" me my damage fee, hotel defers to bank. Called bank, and bank states fees not released by Hotel.
