Acceptable place to crash while in transit.
When we checked in the clerk had not read the note from me through Orbitz and had us on a second floor room. Plus we had asked if the rooms were carpeted and to let us know. They were not. Almost all the first fl rms were booked. There was a missing smoke detector, the faucets were loose, the drapes would not close, the toilet seat was loose, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. the tissue dispenser was empty. Above us they were fixing a drain from about 3-5 PM so we could not nap. The walls are thin. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. We told all of this to the front desk on the way out and they did not seem to care or apologize.
Contractors parked in handicapped spots as did other people without displaying proper tags. Staff did adequately respond to situation.
The room smelled completely of cigarette smoke, the ceiling fan had a blade missing, and there was bubble gum stuck on the wall of the bathroom.
We paid for the room with the kitchenette, so upon receiving the key I asked if I had been assigned that size room. The receptionist responded that I had not, so I asked if I could get that type of room, and she then re-keyed my card for one of those. The room was huge. There was a full size fridge, kitchen sink, and small cook-top. However, there were no plates, bowls, pots, pans, etc. The cupboards were empty. (I brought my instant pot and supplies with me, so I was fine.) Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. I did see one cockroach, but it was dead. We arrived late, and left early, I didn't even look at the pool. Only shampoo, lotion, and soap in the bathroom. I called the desk and asked about conditioner, and unfortunately they don't provide it. Breakfast was cold cereal and pastries. The lobby is tiny, so all food must be eaten your room. (I was glad to have a table and chairs in my room) If you want milk on your cereal, you have to ask at the desk and the friendly lady will fill a cup for you with the gallon jug that she has behind the desk. The Inn is just down the street from Costco where I could get supplies and cheap gas quickly. (Avoid the food court, it was terrible. Waited 1 hr. 40 minutes for a whole pizza and the crust was soggy). Once again the room was huge which allowed the kids and stuff to spread out. Because of the size of the room and the price, I would stay there again. Just remember to bring your own cooking supplies with you.
Clean and comfortable. Good deal for price. Would stay again
While the hotel is older, the room was perfectly clean and the staff very very professional and nice. Would definitely stay here again!
The hotel WiFi doesn’t work well and the room had smells like Moisture
Very quite area close to stores like it that they have microwave and refrigerator to use not exspensive room
Great value if you just need a place to sleep near Fresno State. Better than the other budget hotels closer to the school but still just a short drive. I was running late for my late check in but the front desk called to confirm and checked me in quickly once I arrived.
The room is like a studio apartment with everything you need to make meals right there. Close to everything clovis has to offer. Just walking distance to the farmers market & rodeo. Cute shops up Clovis ave.
Nice friendly staff and comfortable beds. The location was perfect for me and my room had a kitchenette. I found the rooms extremely clean and the strong wi-fi connection and Direct TV were a bonus. I didn't get a chance to take advantage of the free breakfast. My only regret is that I didn't know about this place sooner.
The hotel was in a great location in Clovis for the conference I was going to attend fir the weekend. Love the old town atmosphere. Checked out the Bar B Que place close by, but the rest of the weekend was busy with conference information to take back to our Auxiliary members. We will be in Clovis again next year about the same time so will book here again.
Newer, clean rooms. Walls are a bit thin & noise from next door &'upstairs was bothersome. Comfy beds. Fridge, microwave & 4 cup coffeemaker in the room. Close to rodeo grounds, but not within walking distance. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
Location of room was fine. Cleanliness and service was acceptable. Okay place for just a nigjhts rest on a long drive. The bed was not the most comfortable so I did not get a great night slleep.
Excellent value for the money. Clean and newly renovated property.
