Room was clean. Some features could be updated like the desk chair was comfortable but ripped, the toilet seat has a worn off spot, the shower wasn’t powerful because the switch from the drain plug wouldn’t go all the way up. None of these things are reasons to not stay here because for the price and location it’s a good place. Didn’t feel unsafe and close enough to all the things we wanted to be close to. Staff was nice, rooms look updated as far as flooring and beds, our room had a mini-kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the heating worked. The hotel a block away was twice the price and even including breakfast wouldn’t be as good a value. Will be back if we need a place in town again.

Charged me for a “stained bathmat”. It got stained because the cheap shower curtain did not keep all the water in the tub. So the rusted metal flashing on the floor around the tub/tile stained the mat.

I normally don’t give places negative reviews but the customer service and treatment I received from the Front Desk Lisa was so hostile and extreme I don’t recommend this place to anyone. This employee chose to keep our $50 dollar deposit because there were stains on linen. I did not argue that policy and had no problem. The video evidence will show the owners the entire conversation. What occurs next is Lisa asked me about my overall experience at the hotel. At this point I tell her that the hotel ignored our request for an extra pillow. This is when Lisa becomes clearly annoyed and also is increasingly being passive aggressive with her body language and attitude. When I tell her we were not able to use the pool because it is noticeably green water and unsanitary for the public she is annoyed I am requesting the owners and management watch the video and how this employee interacts with customers. In the video you can hear her say in a short period of time repeatedly 10-20 times “have a good day” in a hostile demeaning manner. Lisa claims I am just trying to argue about a deposit- wow…and then claims she is going to call the police to have me removed when I tell her she is being unprofessional and projecting aggression. The threat of police as an attempt to silence me from reporting her behavior is despicable. I am encouraging the owners and management to watch the recordings of your employee- the manic”have a good day”, the laughter and demeanor is awful

Very clean and quiet. The nighttime clerk was great, very friendly. Spacious room and very comfortable bed. For me, 2 things were lacking; 1. A bedside lamp (i used the one from the desk). 2. A waterproof shower curtain liner Other than that, all good.

I didn't realize my driver's license had just expired and so while I was completely able to validate with a photo id and credit card that I was the one who made the reservation, the guy refused to let me check in. Pretty ridiculous. He did offer to allow the refund but then I couldn't figure out how to call Expedia because they hide their customer service numbers as if it's classified information. Luckily it was on $100 but the whole thing was unnecessary.

Roaches & No respect for please don't disturb sign

The room was clean but there were roaches. It made it hard to stay in the room. We have to keep of suitcases in our vehicle and not leave any food on the tables. When i did leave something just to go to the bathroom there was a roach that got on the table. As for service i did have an incident with one worker cleaning right outside my door at around 7am.. he was sweeping the top of a trash can.. when i asked him if he could please not do that right now.... his response wasn't I'm sorry it was a very rude Whaaat... (body shrug frustrated face) I'm cleaning.. and just proceeded. Mind you i did have the please do not disturb sign on my door. I had arrived late and needed my sleep
