I travel getting my citizenship which a long drive from Fort McMurray. When I arrived they are Very quick response asking if I could check in, which I arrived early on the regular check-in time. Very Nice lady I met (Mary) simple and accommodating. My suite facing the city makes me more comfortable of staying and enjoying moment of stay. The patio outside watching the lake side is a plus beauty of the place. Over all it really exceeded my expectation on my stay. I would definitely come back and as well recommend the please for everyone.
My fiance visited me to Canada for 1st time and we chose this hotel to stay with. we had a room booked with one king bed facing the back side of the hotel. when we checked in we got a room facing the city which we did not request for. upon request, the front desk person gave me a room with 2 queen beds facing that view. We were happy kudos to night auditor. It was a wonderful stay, the only concern we had was the bed sheets; either they were washed with some chemical which didn't suit us or they were too rough. We both had rashes over our body next day when we got up. But this didn't bother us that much as we had our own sheets. but this might be a thing which should be taken into consideration while purchasing the linen. But won't complaint - Had a lovely stay. Will be back definitely
Took my out of country relatives here for lunch on the renown patio - yes-- the patio and view and gorgeous-- but for a slow day we expected a more attentive server. Also the food is quite over-priced; and 'fine' - nothing extraordinary. I would definitely go back to this patio but just for a drink next time.
We attended a convention at Rogers Place in July and choose this hotel because we wanted to be away from the downtown area since we are "country folk". We have never been met with such a sincere welcome at any hotel before! The young lady that checked us in set the tone for our entire stay with kindness and hospitality! We really enjoyed the design and decor of our room and everything was very clean and well arranged. If we were to have any criticism at all it would be that the king bed was a little too firm, although my husband was comfortable. The pillows were wonderful and there were two extra for thickness variety. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, ordering anything but the steak and eggs for $12 each morning. We love good coffee and it was excellent! Rich and strong , not bitter! We enjoyed breakfasts plus dinner and evening appetizers there...all delicious. The waiters were "beyond expectation" in catering to your every need in a very kind, sincere way. What a lovely stay ....thanks so much to all the staff! Definitely worthy of top rating!
This is a downtown courtyard so I wasn't too surprised that it was a little nicer. For instance, instead of the usual courtyard tiny market they have a full restaurant with a view of the river. It has an outdoor area to overlook the river and it looks like they have a stage for outdoor music. Also, the breakfast is a typical fancy $18 buffet. The price per night isn't bad but be aware that valet parking is $20 or $30 Canadian. I can't remember but it adds a fair amount to your bill. ;) Staff was friendly. It's clean. It is located within walking distance of a bunch of bars and restaurants and shops.
This hotel is in a really convenient downtown location, has comfortable rooms, and a very nice view of the river from its patio and rooms on that side of the building. The restaurant is nice, and we had a good light dinner and a good breakfast there. The staff were very friendly, but didn't seem to be able to take care of a few problems we had in a timely manner. We had problems with the television which the in-house technician was unable to fix, and the service went out briefly the next day when everything was apparently resolved. Also, the ATM there had been out for several days, although it was working by the time we left. Overall I would recommend this for the location and comfort, but hope the staff can be a bit more responsive to problems.
Traveled there for a work project for Habitat for Humanity and stayed for 7 days. Excellent service. Clean rooms, Food service was great. The area is what you would expect for a downtown area. Foos is limited within walking distance. Parking was ok except our rental car did recieve some minor damage , however the facility took ownership for it and settled with the rental company very fast.
This hotel is very well located with nice views of the river. It's very pleasant to spend time on the patio. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. And staff are very nice and do all they can you make your stay pleasant.
From check-in to check-out the experience was amazing. The room was spacious with a fantastic view. Great fitness room. Excellent location. Wonderful food in the restaurant and great service from the staff. The decor is up to date and well appointed.
The rooms were spacious and clean, and the prices were reasonable. Breakfast and wifi are both really good! Beware that you have to pay for parking, but the staff are really nice and the location is alright, in downtown.
