The way it look when you get there is not like the pictures at all it’s horrible!

The remote to the TV didn't work. Nobody came to clean our room until the evening before we left. The room smelled moldy, the AC didn't work too well, and we ran out of towels and the lady didn't even want to give us anymore! Waste of $500

Close to pier .9mile Rooms are clean stay there 4 times a year.

The only thing we liked about this place was location. When checking in we were informed we had to pay to park on property which on the Orbitz site stated FREE which I showed staff. He just stated like a recording over n over wasn't there policy . So I'm assuming in the way he acted like a ROBOT he heard this alot. There were dead roaches along the walkway outside of rooms. A HOMELESS man sleeping in the pool area. Which did not make us feel safe there. The pool was unkept. There was a nice coat of green slime growing at the bottom pool. Pool furniture had seen better days back in the 80's. We will never stay there again we left after first night n found a better place down the road. Oh also the pics they post were done in better times of this place.

I like the closeness to the beach and shopping. Didn’t like the parking situation.

We like the pool but facilities were in fair condition.

Hidden fees. At a temperature of 52•F heater not working. Sink clogged. In a 4 days stay was changed room 4 times. However very prompt to charge your credit card. Orbitz gave us a price but they had hidden fees.

Our stay was pleasant, breakfast was good, and we enjoyed being so close to the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful as our door keys didn't work the first two tries.

I checked in and the room they gave me the key didn't work, i had to call someone to come up cause key did not work, and i had all my bags with me i waited 25 monutes to then when they open the door room was not ready it had garbage room sheets was not fixed ,at that point they was getting a room for me i waited another 25 minutes until i finally got a room after a total of an hour and 20 minutes later

We stayed here 4 years ago after it was remodeled and it was nice. Now it seems after new management it needs a lot of work, mainly in the cleaning and upkeep of the grounds. There was trash everywhere, including 2 used condoms in a parking spot. Cigarette butts, trash and hair by the pool area. Not to mention the pool guy cleans the pool at 9:30am and dumping chemicals while people are still in it. The 3 umbrellas in tables were all broken. A lot of this could be remedied by more quality daily maintenance people.

Do not stay here! The pictures of the rooms are nothing like what they actually look like. Hotel staff stated “you cannot trust pictures on line” terrible customer service when complaining about the state of the hotel. Naked homeless bathing in swimming pool early in the morning, locks on doors that do not lock properly and anything on the ground level is not actually ocean viewable because of a cement wall around the pool but is sold that way. There were people somking pot at the pool with Kids in their lap.. bottom line, this is one of, if not the absolute nastiest hotels in Daytona beach. We spent 1 night and got a full refund for the remainder of the nights booked.. only AFTER a lot of complaints. I mentioned to the overnight worker how nasty the hotel is and his response was “you booked it”

We knew it was cheap, but I've stayed in a pretty nice Super 8 previously... so I was hoping it would be at least decent. Dirty carpets, trashy guests, outlets without covers, random washer dryer hookups on one wall, white stains on the comforters, we saw 3 cockroaches, we were told we could do early check in at 1pm- then told to come back after 3pm, facilities were in disrepair on the exterior, the room with the King bed had no ventilation and smelled like mildew, the pool had way too much salt concentration and irritated our eyes and skin. The breakfast was ok; bananas, toast, coffee, yogurt, milk, waffles, cereal. The juice dispensers were broken. While cleaning the breakfast room the attendant continuously muttered in a foreign language to herself when she'd have to wipe anything up. One guest injured himself on one of the disrepaired stairwell/walkway areas and the staff were rude to him over it. And another guest was upset that she was given one price on the phone and a higher price once she arrived. Also, towards the front end of the facility in front of some of the rooms smells heavily of curry or some kind of spices every day, but not in a good way... The smell was very overwhelming with the heat. Mind you we had a full itenerary and spent very little time on the property... This is what we managed to observe during our few interactions with the staff/patrons. Overall a trashy place, we will not return and do not recommend it.
