Breakfast was excellent, never have I ever paid for a stay anywhere and have them charge my car to stay in their lot while I’m staying in the room for which I just paid for. If I wanted to pay for parking I would have rented a cheaper hotel down the road.

Got there at check in and roim wasnt ready came back at 5 and was finally able to get room. Got to room there was a not so nice smell but room did look clean until i ipen night stand and found open boxes of left overs and open fridge freezer and found food not in anything just sitting there. Turned lights on on the night stand but would not turn on so i moved the stand to see if needed plugged in it was and i found candy and toe nail clippings among other nasties.No plugs by bed Tv plugged into extension cord to reach the only plug in room..Went to front desk and she was gonna send staff up but no one showed so we left and contacted Hotels.com for a refund but since the hotel has been dodging the calls we were not able to get any refund as of right now.

The best part of the stay was Lucinda at the front desk. She was helpful and personable. However, when we got to our room we found that the toilet needed work. The shower had no water pressure so my wife could barely get the shampoo out of her hair. We had to ask 4 different employees just to get a couple of extra towels. The ocean view was nice, but the front door opened onto a view of several noisy, rusting A/C units. The door to the balcony would not shut or lock. The "gym" was little more than a large closet. The lobby ran out of coffee one morning and the desk help seemed totally baffled as to how to fix it. The pool was a health risk, as every morning 15-20 pigeons used it for their personal bath. We won't be back.
