The smell of old musty mildew was almost unbearable. Room was not the cleanest, the pics look excellent like it’s updated but it was poorly done and very shoddy work making it subpar and lacking. The only thing going for the hotel is the location right on the water. This place charges way too much for a poorly done, smelly room. Will not book again. Which is a shame as Daytona is frequently my weekend getaway.

I stayed for two days with my family and upgraded to the lower-level ocean-view suite on the first floor, backed up to the pool. It was perfect for us—having easy access to the pool, beach, and hot tub made everything so convenient for me and the kids. The property was great, the staff was excellent, and the weather couldn’t have been better. Watching the sunrise each morning was priceless. Overall, I was very happy with the location and the upgrade. It worked out perfectly for our family and made the beach and pool areas much more enjoyable and inviting for the children.

We have stayed here many times over the last decade. Yesterday's check in was the most welcoming experience we have ever had here. Not only was there a nice fresh paint job in the lobby area since we've last been here, it also looks like a nice fresh customer service training session has taken place. Thank you! Cute little gift bag provided at check in. Right on the beach, close to Ocean Deck for great entertainment, tasty food options all around, walking distance to the pier and the bandshell. I'm glad we grabbed a room last night!
