Fabulous location, wonderful pool. Good food. The daily happy hour was a bonus.

The hotel was really nice for a beach hotel and we will be coming back when we stay in Daytona next time.

This property is smack dab in the middle of the stretch so we only stay here because of the location and we're "used" to staying here. The beach is easily accessible and the lobby is very nice.

My bathing suit came up missing and and a sliding glass door area is up to high and it caused my toe to have problems because I busted it and it was bleeding.

Things started out great, as the lobby was beautiful and the staff checking us in was great, however -- things went downhill from there. We came for our anniversary, which I noted to the front desk staff, and was told they were going to give us a special treat for the occasion. Now I wouldn't have cared if I wasn't promised something, but we did not receive anything the entire stay. The property definitely needs some TLC as well. For example, instead of having a ramp going from the garage to the hallway leading to the hotel, they simply used a big piece of plywood. Also the hallway leading to the hotel from the garage smelled like rotten fish. I would also suggest avoiding the on-site restaurant, named 1888 at all costs. It was the worst meal we ate while in Daytona, by far. I ordered a $24 NY Strip steak and it was cooked terribly, and was basically all fat. The restaurant at the pool bar was much better, however. The hotel room we were in was decent, but is in need of a major renovation. The carpet seam was exposed by the slider, and you could literally see the concrete floor. Also, you can hear every single vehicle that drives by the hotel at night. We were on the 6th floor and could hear it all; I can only imagine what those on the 1st floor heard. The pool area was decent, however the shower coming from the beach was broken the entire time. In conclusion, I would not stay here again unless it went under some serious renovation.

The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. The room and amenities were very clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great location right on the beach. Pool is open all most all day and night.

I can go on about the wear and tear and the obvious too-quick patch jobs, but they apply to most all hotels, right? The bar area was redone since my last visit. It is beautiful! The old bar was more user friendly and promoted comraderie, which boosts bar sales. The bar was not well used, but the seating area off the bar was a happy place. The deck is nice, but has too few umbrellas, like all other hotels situated in scorching hot Florida. The pool is large enough for screaming kids, football toss and adult lounging. The pool bar is an awesome greasy spoon. The inside restaurant is decent (not enuff for me to recall the name) like any other hotel eatery. Nice venue for the two weddings and the Karate competition happening during our stay.

Free Fiji Waters in the room was nice. Free Parking both indoors and outdoors. Nice location for exploring area.

This hotel offered alot more than I even expeced. Not to mention how nice and helpful everyone was! Will definitely recommend this to other people.

The hotel was very nice my only 2 complaints I have was our balcony was not able to be accessed I understand they are getting ready to renovate these but it would have been nice if we were informed of this ahead of time, my other complaint would be the beds and pillows in our room were very uncomfortable. I'm not sure if the beds are in the remodel plan but I hope so. other than this the hotel and staff were very nice
