Very convenient to downtown Dallas events. Walking distance to most things.

Every night in the 6th floor there was arguing going on in the hallway. The elevator made strange noises, at one point it made a loud noise in which everyone that was on the elevator with me thought we were going to stay stuck in it

Location is very good. Walking distance to reunion tower, sixth floor museum, and the Segway starting point. There are electrical scooters for rent downtown if you don’t want to walk. Parking is not free for hotel guests. You have the choice to pay about $30 per day for the hotel to park for you, or find a meter or parking a couple blocks away for about $10 a day. Next time when I visit I probably won’t rent a car and just use Uber.

I liked the location of the hotel it was easy getting around downtown area

The property is in a great location for seeing the downtown sites, but the property is quite old and dilapidated. The color scheme and room lighting are very dark. Rooms are small, and walls thin. The bathroom showers looked new.

Rooms were nice and clean, but tiny. There was also little privacy in the bathroom, due to the sliding door.

Smallest room per dollar I have ever been in and I just got back from Singapore. I have traveled all over the world. This room and the facilities, resources were disappointing at best. The bar was never staffed. Never had a drink from Wednesday night to Saturday. I had one bar of soap and barely enough body wash to shower. I lost my razor and did get a disposable at the front desk, but the hotel only had ONE packet of shave cream available for the 4 days I was there. Based on location and facilities, I would expect to pay $79.95

Great experience. Very friendly staff. The bar experience was awesome! Donavon and Carlos were great tp talk to you! Room is smaller but very comfy.

Hotel nice and staff great. Elevator smelled like smoke although it’s supposed to be a smoke free hotel.

Hotel staff was great, but valet's omitted to inform us that our car would not be accessible in the morning due to a parade and we had to alter our plans to stay around the hotel for a few extra hours. Our room also had over a dozen lady bugs in it, mostly dead on the windowsills and bathroom.

Affordable hotel in downtown Dallas. Staff and valet very friendly. Nice lobby bar, clean with great bartender. Better than average breakfast.

excellent location and value, rooms are small for american standard but free breakfast, fast free internet, 24/7 free coffee more than compensate, unless you want to impress your colleagues, then pay too much at other hotels

Hotel was good...rooms where small, but very clean.

I received 5 star treatment even though the rooms are small but clean, breakfast was great, and fitness facility was great and clean I have been at 4 facilities all are great . Laquinta is a must join and you travel is great place to stay I love it

Great experience with hotel. Horrible experience with orbitz.

Stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. The hotel is situated in down town Dallas surrounded close to all tourist activities which we walked to, very walkable and low risk, Dealey Plaza, Reunion Tower, The Dallas World Aquarium and most of all The Historic West End where we ate all our meals. The staff at The La Quinta were awesome, very helpful, I needed more towels and coffee in my room and they were on it Pronto.. forgot hairdryer at home and one appeared instantly! The hotel is beautifully design in sleek grays, blues colors with a crystal light chandelier that greets you as you enter the front lobby. Room was clean and very modern, the shower in room is one of the best I have experienced. Yes, yes, yes, I will be back!

Dear Guest: Glad to hear you found hotel and staff to meet your expectations. Smoke smell could have been from guests that were smoking outside then riding elevator. Thank you for your feedback.
