Hyatt Regency North Dallas

Recent guest reviews

Room had no fridge and looked very tired (leather headboard has huge worn patch). Pool was closed for renovation, but no mention on that on the website. The only positive was the really friendly barman / waiter.

Great staff and clean rooms. I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast buffet is not worth the price. The pool is under construction. The neighboring hotel had their hot tub out of order. Room was decent. Coffee is horrible.

I did not book a handicapped room so this was already inconvenient. There was no full length mirror, there was no closet except a little open section in the bathroom. There was also no cover for the toilet so I felt it was very unsanitary and gross every time I flushed the toilet where my clothes and makeup were exposed in the bathroom. The worse part was that bring on the 17th floor, it took forever to get hot water. Once there was hot water, there would be spurts of cold water which was so annoying. My colleague was on the 8th floor and had no issues with water so it might just be the higher floors but it was just horrible having 4 days of waiting for hot water and once it was hot, there would be shocking sputters of cold. Maybe it's because it's in Dallas, but the gym definitely needed better air conditioning. It was February but so muggy while working out in there. On my last night there I finally found a treadmill that had actual air flow so my workout was a lot better. I realize now that it was also the only treadmill that was constantly in use. I also didn't like that since I booked on orbitz/Expedia, I couldn't get hyatt points, so that will definitely make my think about how I book my hotels because I constantly travel for work. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, there are a ton in the area and any of them seem much better. Try the Renaissance, it's so much better for comparable prices.

Staff was great, everything was 5 stars in my opinion. :)

When we entered the hotel, it was very nice and clean, check in was very friendly but when you reach the room floors, the carpet was very dirty and stained, needs to be cleaned! Our room had a pile of dirt on the floor in the bathroom that was never cleaned during our stay and behind the hotel room door a big pile of dirt, nasty floors! When we turned on the night light dust flew everywhere. We tried to check out a day early (one hour after posted check out time) and I was told there would be a $75 room charge, and our room hadn't even been cleaned by housekeeping staff! We will NOT stay at this Hyatt again.

Stayed here for a conference at UT Dallas. Quite good location with a lot of good food choice near by. The room is clean and the staff is awesome. Experience some issue with the computer when I checked in, but the staff made it a pleasant one. Overall, it is a good stay and I would come back if I visit UT Dallas.

The is my second stay at Hyatt. Rooms are clean and nice. Standard amenities, only complaint is no mini fridge in room. Location is great and close to entertainment, shopping and many eateries. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if looking to stay in North Dallas.

I went up for the last weekend of the Texas State Fair. While I got a ride over to the DART (inter-city rail system) station for heading off to the fair. By the time I got back after the fair closed, in spite of being advised to call them anyway with business card in-hand, with the intention that I could be shuttled back to the Hyatt - No.... No driver available, so, I had to take 15+ minutes to hike (walk) from the DART station back to the hotel. At the time, I was NOT a happy camper! The DART station was about 5 minutes by drive - they shuttled me over to the station but couldn't pick me up coming back because it was, too late. The Renaissance Hotel is approx. 40 yards from the DART station - THAT would have been a FAR better choice had I known that beforehand. I kept being told on line that this was a good choice relative to a DART connection - those folks probably haven't actually stayed in this hotel ! The room was clean and quiet up on the 14th floor, but the hike back to it from the DART station, after being tired from a day at the state fair, with no one available to shuttle me back for a 5 minute drive put a damper on an otherwise nice stay.

Great, except for no indoor pool and no free breakfast.

It was a great hotel. Rooms were clean and smelled good. Staff were nice.

fantastic location, great hotel!!!!We will be back.Great workout room and pool.

This was a super clean hotel. The rooms were a decent size and the bathroom was had a spacious design. I really liked the shampoo and toiletries they provided. The staff was super friendly and nice!it was a quiet hotel and made my stay absolutely wonderful. More than I wished for.

Nice quiet hotel for business travel. Classy and modern rooms.

The staff was very kind. The room was comfy. The view was cool. I have no compaints. Not a one!

This was recommended by a client. Good location, comfortable room, and it was a nice hotel.

Stayed for a conference. Easy to find, quick check in, and clean room. No complaints.

Stayed there for only 2 days. It was very convenient. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Rooms were also good size. I would recommend

Not too bad..There was no microwave..The bar/restaurant area was a little too wide-open..

Other than some noisy folks in the hall early on a Saturday morning, it was a great hotel. We've stayed here multiple times and I'd stay again.

We're very happy to hear that you found our staff to be friendly during your stay with us. Where I would really like to apologize is for the condition of the room. This is clearly not our standard of service nor is it your expectation of service as a guest. I assure you that your response has been shared with our team and we will improve always.
