I am giving a 3 at the hotel facilites because I think it should include the breakfast like other hotels.

Charged $30 per day for breakfast but was only able to get 1 sandwich to split with my husband even though it was the 2 of us staying in the room. Also, pillow case was not cleaned beforehand because one of the pilllows had a bad stinky armpit smell to it when we walked into room.

Quiet and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great trip to Gold Cup!

Room was nice, but hotel amenities were lacking and the front desk staff didn't seem to have any type of training in hospitality management. Nobody was at the front desk when I arrived for check-in (at 7pm), and after waiting several minutes, I began to search throughout the lobby, thinking maybe I was in the wrong place. Finally a young woman walked up from the "bistro" cafe, apologizing to me and saying that she had to cover both areas. I didn't want to blame her, since apparently the Marriott made the choice to understaff this location, and I figured I'd let it slide. Meanwhile, when I stepped away from the desk to look for someone to assist me, another guest arrived and got in line ahead of me. The Marriott employee chose to help the other guest before allowing me to check in. Later, I asked that same employee if she could recommend a good breakfast place. She just shrugged and said there's nothing around here at all. (She didn't bother to mention that their bistro cafe happened to serve breakfast, which I later discovered from a brochure in the hotel room.) I ended up researching breakfast options on my phone instead, and found quite a few. When I went to check out in the morning, again nobody was at the front desk. After waiting several minutes, a young man finally emerged from the back room, and was rude and condescending. This was my first stay at a Marriott, and will definitely be my last. For the price, I expected more amenities and better customer service.

Great mid-century decor. Lobby, lounge, and patio furniture showing some wear. But, nice facility overall. Actually good location to get downtown. Take Park Ave into town - center of downtown shops and restaurants in less than five minutes.

I was very pleased with my stay at The Marriott. It was conveniently located to the highway, stores and to family that I visiting. I was warmly welcomed and had a room that was newly updated. You could still smell the newness of the rug!

A group of friends and I traveled to chico for a night out. Staff was friendly and patient with my phone callsvorvroom changes. I room was a little too bright in the morning for my personal comfort.

My only complaint is that NOTHING is included for a pretty pricey hotel. The lobby is fun and modern, kids enjoyed it.

Our kids had a full house, so to make life easier for them we spent two nights at the Courtyard by Marriott. Nice place near, but not up against, the freeway, easy in and out. No comp breakfast, but we ate with our family. Room was right next to the elevator, but keeping the A/C running all night covered the noise and we slept very well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriot. I can't say it was a 5 star hotel, but I can say the staff was very friendly, very helpful. The rooms, bedding, cleanliness were wonderful. I would stay there again, and I will recommend it to friends and family visiting the Chico area. (Downtown Chico was 2 exits away, Sierra Nevada brewery was ONE exit. Everything was reasonably close and very easy to get to. Thank you!

Hotel staff were polite and helpful. They let you use the outdoor Bball courts and pool at the Residence Inn next door King bed was comfortable, however tv located at odd angle. Overall great stay.

The Staff were very nice and helpful, especially in the dining area. The room was typical...what you would expect at a Marriott. I traveled with a family member and we had separate rooms. Theirs had a mini fridge and mine didn't which was disappointing because I would either have to use theirs or not have use of one. Also, the toilet in the bathroom didn't seem to be bolted down all the way and kind of sounded like it might tip over when anyone used it. A little inconvenient but overall a really nice stay.

Everything was fantastic...Great location, very clean, and the best value of all.

The room was neat, clean and comfortable. I came with my two teenage daughters to tour Chico State and we would have benefitted from having a mirror in the room, outside the bathroom.

A very nice facility with easy access to local shops, highways, restaurants - centrally located in a nice setting. Very relaxing and ultra pleasant staff !

Lovely & staff was great. Slight noise from freeway. But I would stay here again!!

Great Place, VERY peaceful! and the price was good. I found a new place to stay when visiting my college student...

Very nice Hotel. Easy freeway access. Close to restaurants and shopping. Not too far or too close to campus. Drove back and forth to campus four or five times while there. Tried different routes never took more then ten minutes. Super close to Sierra Nevada Brewery/Restaurant.

Kind of in a remote area. Far from downtown. But nice place to stay.

Courtyard was a nice place to stay. Room was clean and was decorated nicely. The bed was comfortable. I used the gym in the morning, tv's on the treadmills. Great free coffee in the lobby. Overall was a nice place to stay. Only issue it's not walking distance to downtown.
