Omni La Costa is a timeless classic with upscale understated luxury that one comes to expect from the Omni brand. The manager Chris was incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating in helping get us into a room type we wanted. Upon arrival we decided to upgrade from the standard plaza room to a Plaza suite. The room Chris placed us in was excellent and we enjoyed our stay every much. The Omni property is a timeless classic and it always feels special to stay at a property as beautiful as the Omni La Costa.

Space and scenery

Room was dirty on check in. Candy bar under night stand Tops of night stand and dressers not cleaned Floors not vacuumed Bathroom pipes backed up and staff weren’t able to fix it We left for the day but we’re t even called to notify us that we needed to change rooms No communication

The pools and the slides were fun for the kids. However the bathrooms were never clean in the pool area. The food was just okay all around the resort. The service was slow and not personable. They changed the staff daily. The housekeeping in the room was probably rushed because every day something was wrong. The self parking is $25 and it’s completely out of the way. About a 10 minute walk from the rooms.

We arrived at 4.30 and our room still wasn’t ready yet. When we finally got our room we couldn’t get a hold of a bell man or receptionist to get our luggage. My husband had to walk a half mile down. It took forever to get our stuff. We have3 little kids and wanted to go to dinner. Then the restaurant was half empty but we still had to wait 30 min to get a table. The receptionist reassured us free breakfast, but my husband couldn’t find the voucher the next day so they simple said “sorry we have no record” after demanding to talk to the hotel manager we got $100 credit. The pool was over crowded. I have never seen anything that bad. They allow day guest to use the pool. They had a giant kiddo pool, with beach entrance and sand area to play which was cool. But every now and then everyone had to get out of the pool so they can brush the sand out for 15min. So we got to the pool and after 5 min I had to tell our kids to get out. On top of that i had to kill 2 spiders in our room. Will never go back there again!

Beautiful grounds, amenities. Clean and enjoyable over all . Better service when it is not overwhelmingly busy, which was during my stay.

Beautiful property, though my first room had a mildew smell to it.

Great Staff. Prices are too high on buffet. Sodas and alcoholic beverages prices are way to high. Beds are not comfortable and rooms need to be updated. $25 dollars for a bed cot is ridiculous ( should be free).

8 pools and water slides great resort. Love the different activities they have for kids. S’mores to a night swim showing of COCO.

Room was simple, but nice. Facility is very nice. Room walls are paper thin. Screaming kids in adjacent room ruined our stay. Spoke with staff and was not provided any relocation or assistance with noise.

Nice hotel, pretty grounds. The only complaint is that we had to wait in line for over 30 minutes to check in.
