Beautiful property, though my first room had a mildew smell to it.

Great Staff. Prices are too high on buffet. Sodas and alcoholic beverages prices are way to high. Beds are not comfortable and rooms need to be updated. $25 dollars for a bed cot is ridiculous ( should be free).

8 pools and water slides great resort. Love the different activities they have for kids. S’mores to a night swim showing of COCO.

Room was simple, but nice. Facility is very nice. Room walls are paper thin. Screaming kids in adjacent room ruined our stay. Spoke with staff and was not provided any relocation or assistance with noise.

Nice hotel, pretty grounds. The only complaint is that we had to wait in line for over 30 minutes to check in.

Beautiful resort with excellent family friendly amenities. Very well kept grounds with beautiful flowers everywhere. We loved the Splash pool and the resort staff were wonderful. S’mores on Fri/Sat nights was fun too. Didn’t make it to the spa this trip but I will if I’m back in the area because I’ve heard it’s amazing. We had a La Costa King suite and we were disappointed with how old and damp it was for the money we spent. The bed was terrible - full of springs and flat, lumpy pillows. The shower drain smelled like rotting hair, and the carpets felt damp despite the A/C. Room service was prompt but wasn’t very good. And our suite was behind a grass hill so our room felt like it was in the basement of the hotel (rm 901). Overall, we would try this place one more time if we can reserve a room in a different section of the resort. Just know before you go that they nickel and dime you for things like the roll away bed ($25/nt) and self-parking ($24/day). Valet was $34/day and they are very busy so be prepared to wait a long time for your car. Still, if you’re looking for a good family getaway, this is a good option.

Excellent. Beautiful historic hotel. Gorgeous panoramic golf view from our room.

Perfect choice for young kids. The toddler pool and slide were great. The VUE restaurant was very nice with good kid meal choices for only $6. The grounds were beautiful with flowers everywhere. The life guards were awesome! The pools were not busy during our stay so the lifeguards were able to spend time with our kids helping them learn how to swim. We look forward to coming back next year.

Enjoyed it very much..would do it again.. the facilities were very nice..it was very busy the weekend I went but the staff managed to pull it together..

Anthony at the front desk checked us in and made sure we had everything we needed for the birthday girl. He was able to move us into a room that better fit our group and the room was ready early. There were balloons and fresh fruit in the room and everything about the stay was fantastic.

The hotel room is nice but the jaccuzzi jets wasn’t working so disappointed.

I couldn't be more impressed with every aspect of my visit at this resort. The grounds are impeccable, staff incredibly helpful (Ian at the front desk even coordinated a reduced rate for me as I was unable to fly home during hurricane Irma), and the food is excellent. The biggest applause factor is of course the Chopra Center. I can't speak highly enough about everyone involved there and the programs, meditations, and treatments they offer. The Marma massage with Mike is life-changing. If you have any emotions or health challenges you need to release (which, who doesn't?), see him. You won't be disappointed.

Property needs a facelift. Don't believe the pictures. Golf facilities are nice, staff was nice and other than our door declining our keys at night, it was a good experience.

Not worth it, Cabo is better... big property with no open area except the golf course... seems outdated and needs some love, not enough staff...

The property was beautiful! Spacious rooms and wonderful food choices but the highlight was the level of service from the staff. At check in my daughter was crying and in a heartbeat Johnson came to the rescue. He asked if she was ok and provided her with a small children's bag with a coloring book. It did not stop there, when we got to our room after dinner there weee cookies and milk for her. Wow!!! We will be going back as service is a lost art but not at La Costa.!!!Thank youto Johnson and his entire team!!!

The Spa gets a 5! The Garden pool food hut service was poor and it took half the day to fix the problem.

PPERRFFEECCTT for a getaway weekend for a family with kids. There are a lot of things to do and enjoy. A little pricy but worth it. If it was cheaper- we would definitely come more often.

Nice hotel for families , has everything you need for not going out good restaurants and good service , the only problem is the self parking is far away
