Property in the center of Carlsbad Village and across a small street from the beach. We were able to walk almost everywhere!
Parking was underground and good. The 1 Bedroom Condo was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children.
Now the rest of the story…The room had wet carpeting in the main bedroom upon arrival. We reported it and they did come and investigate the cause. The Maintenance Tech found the cause due to an AC condensation line clogged. The room should have been taken offline for the repair, but due to no other condos being available they repaired and wet vacuumed the carpeting and gave us a fan! It was a very disruptive first afternoon, and little sleep that night because of the drying fans. When I approached the front desk to ask for a discount on our first night’s charge they said NO because we were in a condo!
We saved them a lot of money by reporting the issue immediately (it had been leaking a while) and helping to figure out the problem with the Tech! They could have at least offered something, even a Thank you! The employees did thank us for helping!
Their Customer Service/ Guest Services needs improvement! Housekeeping and Maintenance get 5 stars!!
The roof repairs to the Hotel building are really noisy during the day outside. You may want to avoid staying in the hotel until that project is finished. The condos are not affected.
Overall, we would stay again.
