Great price for the area.

The motel was not easy to find in the night because it's next to a building called the loft. Not easily seen from the road. The staff was friendly. When I asked for extra towels they were happy to give me plenty. It's not the ritz carlton if that's what you're looking for. But our room was very nicely kept and fresh an cozy. The outdoor lighting was a bit much in the room at night, but it did keep the outside well lit for comfort. I would stay again. I was pleased with my stay. Clean, no bugs, good water pressure, nice comfortable bed for a couple nights. They don't clean rooms daily but I was fine to keep it nice myself. I would stay again.

It’s very affordable inn for the area location. On an upscale and nice walking area two blocks away from the beach and restaurants. Very touristy area, but calm as well. Pet friendly inn!! My most recent stay charged a $50 deposit for the stay (not for pet, pets stay free) I hadn’t been asked before for a deposit, but it was okay since I gave cash deposit and you get it back immediately at checkout. Best pet friendly inn I’ve stayed at taking into account the location. The only thing is that there seems to be an issue with the keys when opening the room doors. They sometimes don’t work. I was told it was because I placed them right next to my phone and they deactivate, but other than that I’ve never had a problem. Heads up. There’s no fridge or microwave in the rooms I stayed at, but it wasn’t a major problem for me.

I left my room 105 at 2:30pm on Friday. When I came back Friday night someone else was checked into my room. I went to the front desk and I had been moved to room 202 without my knowledge or permission. There were not any notes as to why I was moved. The maid put my stuff in a trash bag and it was behind the office wall. When I emptied my stuff in room 202, I was missing a Polo golf shirt. The shirt was never found. I sent a text and tried to call the manager but no response. I paid for 3 nights and got 3 nights. 1 in room 105 and 2 in room 202. Nobody seems to know what happened and nobody is responding to me regarding my shirt.

This place is a homeless hangout. The back parking lot is noisy all night. Drugs, smoking, alcohol, fights and arguing. This place is a dump!

Check in was okay. Nothing eventful. I reserved a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room. The room smelled horribly of smoke. Make sure you ask for confirmation of room choice. We got in late and my child was very sleepy so I didn't go back down to the lobbby. There is only 1 USB port, and it didn't charge my phone, thankfully, I had a power bank. Room is decently sized, but no tissues available or toiletries so bring your own. We came back to our room on night two and my key card wouldn't work. After a long day at a theme park, with food in hand, had to go back to the lobby to get the key card reactivated. I don't mind staying in motels and inns. I've had some great stays. This is probably a location I'll likely avoid in the future.

In town for a meeting. Great easy access- about 4 blocks to the beach

love the location, and close to downtown Carlsbad walking distance.

Ok

I was getting bit by things and there were hardly any towels in the bathroom the blankets were thin. I liied thaat it was quiet

I was surprised we had to pay a deposit after paying in full for the room. Our room was next to the ice maker which was noisy but overall, the room was adequate and comfortable.

Very good deal for the price. Room was clean, shower was hot and bed was very comfortable. Convenient walking distance to Carlsbad Village bars and restaurants.

Room was very clean, but the upholstery and drapery reeked of smoke from tobacco and cannabis.

Too many drugs too many prostitutes too many homeless, people living in their cars very disrespectful people don’t care that people need to sleep, office does nothing when notified
