1-Hotel in bad area- the water in this area is not beautiful or blue as if you were more inside the Hotel zone

Rooms needs to be updated other then that everything was great!

Love the people here they are so helpful. I would recommend.

In my 12 times visiting Cancun this has been the worst timé staying in a resort don't thing I will ever visit this place again bed sheets we're smelling all the time could not sleep because of it in some restaurant waiters we're not pleased with guests not many shoice of food allways the same at every time

We stayed here for 10 days whith 2 kids, kids liked the beach ,they dont have waves, rooms are clean, staff are doing the best to keep customer happy

Very nice ocean view, clean room but small bathroom, no bathtub. The staff was very nice and cooperative to meet our needs and upgraded to a better room

Clearly cheaper hotel than some other ones in Cancun but you get the same experience as staying at a different resort. There are more kids at this one than others but still a lot of college kids. The drinks are done being served at 1 am, which is kind of a bummer but overall a great trip!

This one has nonstop very loud live music at night with bad singers. So if you have a room with ocean view then you can't sleep till late. Hotel has too many rooms and too many guests but the poll area is good to comfortably accommodate just 1/3. So you feel like being at state fair instead of at beach resort. Drinks were totally watered down. Only 2-3 same drinks each day for those who do not drink alcohol. Desert was identical for all 5 days. Coconut only available for 45 minutes in the morning. Hotel ran out of cash to convert $ to Peso. And if you are vegetarian then all you will get is pasta. No new items in menu on any of the 5 days. I would rather suggest you go anywhere else. And if you go there then take your alcohol with you ... they mix water in the bottle to begin with so no point. Even tequila shot was pathetic and this place is in Mexico :)

1.Personnel is nice, but in restaurants/bars always look for tips, this is annoying, especially if you paid for all inclusive. management should do smth with that. 2. Some construction is going on on beach, and sometimes construction workers guys move some stuff in front of you. Not such perfect beach view that you expect to see. Same related to guys who sell some touristic crap (sunglasses, coconuts, some hand crufts, cigars etc): thay are coming to you each 2 min, even if you said no, they will try to show you the crap and ask you to buy. That's annoying. Not that want to see. Hotel management should do smth with that too. 3. In room facilities, bathroom not new and already old sometimes with mold etc dirt. No refrigerator in room but should be, they told me that will install during the day, next day same story, then next day again etc, still didn't have it.

The hotel gives you mariachi, live music, and interesting shows all nights including the Fire show (my favorite). The food is really good, and the personalized service is amazing. Thanks to Jair and Luis Chavez, we felt at home. They were the best. The rooms were confortable and serviced every day. It is close to the different commercial centers. It was an amazing experience.

We booked the room through Orbitz, but the hotel could not find our reservation when we arrived. The night staff was a staff of one (tending a line of 15) and would not help to any satisfaction. The manager would not help as well as he hid in his office. After three hours in the lobby we ended up having to book another room in the hotel. For $400, all they would give us was a nasty kids room decorated with Finding Nemo everywhere. This was not even the king size bed with an ocean view that we reserved. It was dirty, old, paint chipping off the walls, and the shower was too nasty to mention....with mold everywhere! After an hour nap, and a shower we left the room to try and secure our original reservations with the front desk....after two more hours and the rudest staff imaginable, they could not find our reservation and refused to refund our money for the night they charged us to stay, even though we already paid through Orbitz. The staff was rude, and obviously discriminates against Americans, because the majority of the clientele were local Mexicans. They would not let us leave until they charge our credit card for the first night....even though they promised us that night that it would not be charged. THEY EVEN THREATENED TO HAVE US ARRESTED! We left the hotel and stayed at the Hyatt Zilara! Best decision we could have possibly made. Avoid the Oasis Palm at all cost - it is a dump.

Food quality was disgusting. Had to wait in major long lines for dinner or lunch. No AC in lobby. AC IN THE ROOM LEAKED! WTH?

Service was just okay, food was the worst I have had at any resort and this was my 4th time in Cancun, only food that was worth eating was the pizza buffet and the Mexican cantina. Also for an all inclusive I thought we were nickled and dimed a lot for little things that are usually included, like room service and mini bar and the majority of different places to eat on the property that were not included. Only saving grace was the amazing amenities for kids, our kid loved every minute of it!

What I bought as all inclusive was not what I got once I was over there. There are unexpected services or amenities that you have to pay for once you get there among other common sense procedures for security such as a non smoking sign on specific areas. My daughter got burn serving herself food from the kids buffet and there are no signs warning about hot surfaces. I had to go out and buy milk for my baby because they did not have any. We were asked to pay 12 USD to be able to use towels while being on the beach. The are limited ramps. The AC was not working well in many areas and fans are very limited. Honestly it is not worthed to spend your money here. We are NOT coming back to this hotel. Overall my experience was not good.

Pros: It was close to the beach and the water is so nice. The activities during the day. Live music. Staff was awesome and explained in great detail their expectations and how things worked in the hotel. Cons: We hated the fact that the open bar had small cups so you had to keep going back and forth to the bar and wait in long lines. The other thing was the food. It was just OK. We had a lot of variety but not food that you could eat over and over.
