This place is BAD. No idea how they're still getting away with calling this place a 4-5 star. It's a hotel, not a resort. Staff is amazing, everything else sucks. I feel duped. Everything is run down, dirty and broken, no where to hang out inside, pool and "hot tubs" (they're slightly warm) are moldy and have sharp edges and missing tiles all over the place, everything in the room was broken and falling apart. The resort is attached to a big abandoned resort that's covered in graffiti and has massive chunks of concrete falling off onto this hotel. Often a 10 minute wait for an elevator. No real stair options. Anyone closing a door on the entire floor all night causes your whole room to shake so no one slept. We paid extra to take an earlier flight home because it sucked so badly.

we stayed at this resort for six days and had a great experience overall. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and well-maintained, but the hotel need some renovations to bring it up to date. Every night, they had a nice, family-oriented show which was a fun way to end the evening. The buffet food was quite good, and the smokehouse dinner was good. I especially enjoyed the food at GOLNDAL, which was tasty, but I was a bit disappointed that Gondal restaurant didn't offer any dessert after our meal and we see we have to asked them . The beach was absolutely beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The resort is on the smaller side, but we actually liked that—it felt more intimate, Overall, I would definitely recommend it, but I think it could improve with a few updates.

Beach palace will be undergoing much needed renovation soon, as we were informed later this year. Elevators were concerning at times but they were worked on while we were there. The property next to it is abandon and in shambles with police presence so that affects the feel. Food and staff were wonderful.

I want to preface this review by saying I have stayed in multiple all inclusive and resorts so I can compare. They will be closing this property for much needed renovations so I am happy to know they recognize the Beach Palace is not to their standards.The beach was beautiful and the majority of the staff were friendly. Don't fall for the "generous offer of a DAY PASS to another property unless you want to loose a 1/2 day of your vacation. As my family and I were leaving in their complementary taxi ride to the Moon Palace, we were told we would have to spend 90 min driving around the property to be told how to book with them directly next time. 5 hrs later and multiple attempts to sell me a membership, we finally got to enjoy our day on the property. We felt duped. The offers are not a horrible, but I was not prepared to be pressured into spending upwards of 40k on a membership package. When I asked for this to be rectified my complaint was sent to " public relations ". The alcoholic beverages on both properties were very weak and poor quality. The food however was fairly decent with lots of options. We had to ask 4 out of the 5 day to have our room cleaned, and the toilet needed to be repaired everyday. The spa experience was very good and all of the spa staff were friendly. The property next to the resort had been vacant for some time, was covered in graffiti and appeared to be unsafe. The mall is within walking distance, and nice off site restaurants.

Our family goes to Cancun almost every winter and we usually stay at a different resort. We switched it up this year and I'm so glad we did! The hotel is centrally located not only ocean front, but also near the peninsula. The room was fantastic, the balcony with the chair bed was great to lounge on after the kids fell asleep, the food was wonderful and there were tons of vegetarian options, which isn't always the case at all inclusives. The staff was kind and very friendly and our family had such a lovely time. Our kiddos are 8 and 10 and they loved the slide! This is definitely a wonderful hotel for a family. Extra shout out to the coffee bar because my husband and I drank our weight in iced coffees and the baristas were wonderful! Our family will definitely be visiting again..

Pictures on internet don’t match reality. Over packed, ran out of extra pillows, beach lounge chairs crammed together, room next to exit door/stairs-very loud, line for coffee/dessert area long most of time, odor in bathrooms awful to name a few.

The beach was absolutely gorgeous. We spent most of our time there. Get there early the chairs go fast. The main pool area could use a bit of updating. The food was mostly good as the restaurants were all great except for room service, avoid. We tried quite a few room service dishes, and all were not great. The property is very clean. We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Palace. We loved the sky bar area and pool as well. It was less crowded and beautiful views. I do wish there were a few more activities for our teenage girls to do, but the beach and swimming in pool was definitely fun. Ps.. Do not do the visit to their sister property, Moon Palace. It sounds like a great deal, free transportation and hotel credit but it’s not. The staff will completely hound you and won’t take no for an answer about purchasing another vacation. It took us over 3 hours to finally get away from the sales team. It was not a good experience.
