The only issue I had was that the newspapers in the lobby were all in Chinese. I did not ask for one. The food and staff in the restaurant were all great as was the shuttle driver and desk staff.

Nice staff from the front desk to the housekeeping crew. Always ready to cater to my needs! Enjoyed my stay. Actually, this is the third time I am staying to Clarion hotel. Was satisfied at each of my stay. Would recommend Clarion hotel to all of my friends.

My check in was fast and the hotel staff were very nice. Everybody catered to my need starting from the shuttle bus driver, to front desk staff, and to the house cleaning crew. My room was warm and clean with a comfortable king size bed topped with a nice window/balcony view to the city. The hotel is close to major highway and major bus/train transit. If you are hungry, the hotel restaurant and lounge will cater to your need with great food. The only problem is that the restaurant closes sometimes a bit early in my view and does not offer room service during my stay. Nevertheless, there is many close by neighborhood restaurants just minutes away. Another drawback is that my room key was not functional each time I left the hotel to conduct my affair and came back later to enter my room. However, at each of those unfortunate occasion, the service desk staff were very prompt to fix the problem. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a nice stay at an affordable price.

Pleasant stay. its nice staying there.services are awesome.

First off, they tried to tell me I reserved a single queen when my reservation was clearly for two queens. There appeared to be lubricant of some kind smeared all over the wall next to the bed and the room smelly very strongly of cigarette smoke.

staff was very friendly and made my needs happen.wanted a extra late checkout and they made it happen.

Stayed here on layover to Vegas. Nice clean place. Sleep number bed wasn't very good. Overall good place to stay.

I stayed for about two weeks. When I first walked into the pool area I noticed several problems: 1) the water level was too high 2) the strainer baskets were full of bandaids, hair, and other garbage 3) the pool had oils and hairs floating on top because the strainers were not functioning. I immediately called the front desk and they tried brushing it off. When the pool boy came I trained him on why it is important that the strainer baskets are functioning. The next day, things were not fixed and so I informed the front desk that the water level was still too high. If your kitchen is making people sick you deal with it right away. Pools are much the same, but if someone catches a disease they may not know about it for a decade. When the strainer baskets are not functioning you do not have adequate circulation and this can create "dead spots". Dead spots are areas that have no disinfectant (chlorine in this case), and so if you swim down and drink from that spot and it has a disease then you are going to have problems. If you measure the chemicals near the top of the water you are pretty much guaranteed to get fairly consistent results. Not only did I tell the front desk and maintenance about these issues, but I also wrote them down for them and waited. Near the end of my stay I called the health inspector and suddenly both the pool and hot tub were finally working properly. I had a similar experience with the older Michelle that works in the lounge. I had ordered the pasta with truffle several times, and when she asked me if this one was okay I told her that the previous times I had it were better and that I thought that there was no truffle in it. Michelle said, "I saw mushroom in there" and so I explained that I thought that the chef had probably run out of truffle and added extra portabella instead. I expected her to ask the chef if this was the case and then tell me that is what had happened (the front desk a few days later told me that was the case), but instead she did nothing. This was the same as when I tried ordering Grapefruit juice. She told me that they did not have any, but the next day it was still sitting in the fridge where the previous Michelle had left it. I expected her to go to the kitchen to try to find some, or at least look in the fridge - especially after I told her I bought some the day before. However, she again did nothing. All I wanted was service. The bar only had one beer on tap, one gin, and pretty much just one of everything. They are clearly suffering, and treating guests like this does not help. After this, I stayed at Comfort Inn and the Days Inn (south macloed) and I felt I actually received the service that I paid for - at a fraction of the price. If you want nothing then this is the place for you.

the lobby was nice but that was not where I slept, the room was dated and the bathroom needed a reno.

The stuff was friendly. Room was nice and big, pretty clean, though the windows to the balcony were awefully dirty! There was a coffee maker, nice bath and shower, also clean. Missing microwave, would be handy! The major con was a heater fan, it was terribly noisy, so I had to turn it off for the whole night cause I could sleep. Besides that my stay was pretty pleasurable. Good thing check out is at noon, but I needed to check out little later and front desk gladly changed my check out time til 1 pm!

nice hotel, busy, difficult to check in early but they where generous for late checkout at 1330hrs,no free breakfast, has a free internet every where, the staff are great,no refrigerator inside the room, the bathroom is good,it is quite and has a free public parking. I will stay in it again and definitely I will recommend it,my only point is that if they can offer a free breakfast will be better .

Very pleasant, quiet, good staff, nice restaurant, close to everything.

Our compliments are greatly influenced by the helpfulness of the staff. The site wascovenient for everything we wished to do. Try them

it was in a convenient location and moderately priced. I would stay here again.

It looks a little dated from the outside but the interior has been updated. The rooms are clean, nice and comfortable and the amenities and restaurant are great. I would stay there again.

Rooms are good, no problems. They really helped me out with the transportation, however the guys at the reception seemed utterly confused, forgot our wake-up calls and did not have grasp.

From the greeting when we arrived, to the departure at 5 AM we were treated beautifully. We got what we expected, except that we were 15+ minutes from the airport...not terrible, but also not great. the staff was more than accommodating and acted quickly to solve our needs.

The location described by locals was "not a good part of town." No quick access to good restaurants or shopping. My guest room was not what I expected from a Radisson -- very dated and musty smelling. The workout facility is very limited and small -- I don't typically have clostrophobia, but could not work out in the small space. Although my shuttle driver was very friendly and shared useful information about what to see and do, she was new to the area, so referred me to the front desk personnel for details. Front desk personnel were not helpful and had a habit of responding to my and other guests questions, i.e. request for a cab, request for directions, and request regarding public transportation, with looks of disgust. When I called for a sewing kit, it never arrived, so I asked the same employee in person, to which he rolled his eyes and provided me with the kit. I needed to extend my stay an additional night, but when I called to inquire about the possibility, I was put on hold for 10 minutes at which time I hung up and called the Marriott Courtyard.

Well situated for both downtown and airport Good quality for a good price Clean Rooms Friendly helpful staff

Found the hotel to be clean and convientently located if you are doing anything in the In East and South Cakgary. Very convienent if you are going North or South of Calgary. Rooms are on the small size. Lots of hot water.
