We booked this hotel specifically for the pool only to find out it is out of service for the month.

I didn’t stay the full night. The pillow where flat, I even tried to stack them. I felt all the spring in the mattress and it was stiff. I tried to sleep and just couldn’t.

This is the second time we have stayed there and we were happy with our stay. The gentleman at the check-in was especially pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the full breakfast buffet, which was so much better than the usual Covid-style grab and go bags.

Convenient location for our visit with family. Staff very pleasant and responsive. Room was clean, pillows comfortable. Breakfast was ok, however the egg dishes were not good at all...no flavor, weird consistency.

The staff was very nice, but I felt it was understaffed since only one person was at the front desk and he had to come himself to deliver extra hangers. Also, the elevators are VERY slow. But they work, so what the heck. The breakfast was great and the young lady working the kitchen was especially nice and hard working. Appreciated having a hot breakfast.

Great location, easily accessible too the train station and Downtown Salem. The train suggestion really helped us a lot

My wife and I usually have pleasant things to say about every Hampton Inn we’ve stayed at. However, our stay at this particular one will permanently alter our future thoughts and slightly ruined Hampton inn’s reputation for us. Breakfast is now only a grab and go bag with a bottle of water and a bagel, and there is no coffee available in the lobby, something that was different from a HI we stayed at a week before in NY. The room was dirty, with dust all over the bathroom door giving my wife allergies. The room was not vacuumed well. The walls are paper thin and we were able to hear the complete conversation of the family in the room next to us. Logistically, the hotel is difficult to arrive at from the highway. You need to take a quick left on the off ramp or else you’ll be navigating the whole neighborhood trying to find a way to get to the parking lot. It is about 25 minutes from Salem, (if that’s why you’re visiting) which I realized is almost about as far as Revere or North Boston so you’d probably be better off getting a hotel somewhere around there.

The hotel is very nice and clean. I was not crazy about the location, a lot of traffic and the hotel was not the easiest to get to from Salem.
