Clean, could use some paint. Our room was ready and we were pleased to check in way early and conveniently leave our bags late. However, breakfast and coffee were a disappointment. Coffee was only available 7-11 and breakfast was a packaged granola bar. No elevator may be a problem for some.
We arrived too early for check-in and the staff let us leave our luggage while we went about our day. Once we returned they upgraded our room to one with a view that was lovely. The staff was friendly and I would definitely stay at this property again. Had a great time!
I pre-booked a room with 2 beds and arrived with a room with only 1 king bed. The hotel person suggested a refund. Wow! There was no way to consider a refund because my boat is scheduled to return tomorrow.
Location and access was excellent. Everything in the island is expensive as expected and this hotel has a good price for what they offered. It was VERY CLEAN and ventilated. Front desk people was very nice.
BED WAS TOO HARD
I paid $450 for one night in the “Honeymoon Suite” for the honor of carrying my luggage up to the fourth F’ing floor. NO ELEVATOR, and no warnings about a hotel in the 21st century not having one. Possibly the most I have ever paid for the least. Never ever not ever coming back to this place. But if you enjoy a physical challenge to get in and out of your room, have at it.
The style, location and staff!
Was great location
Easy check-in and check-out, decent sized room
Owned by nice Chinese couple. At times, communication was challenging, but over all a wonderful stay.
The room was very clean
My husband and I paid for the honeymoon suite and online it stated it had a fireplace our room did not have a fireplace very disappointed we paid almost $500 for the stay and the restroom was not as clean as expected
Friendly staff. Accommodating of storage for luggage. Cute hotel. Nice location within walking distance to all of Avalon.
Hotel is within easy walking of everything in Avalon without all the commotion. While some travelers may not like the terracing of stairs I think it's part of the charm as opposed to a long hall of rooms.
