I was overcharged and when I pointed it out, the lady blamed it on the computers. Room keys didn't work. Pool looked gross. Orbitz does not show actual picture of facility. I was blindsided and disappointed.

This place is awful. We saw roaches and they would not give us a refund. The TV didn't work, ice machine didn't work and there is no pool with water in it - even though it advertises there is a pool. I'm calling the board of health next.

The hotel met my expectations. It was most certainly not luxurious, but the price was right and it wasn't too far from the city center. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were clean, and that goes a long way. The place has not been as well maintained over the years as it should have been and it is beside the highway, but the room was surprisingly quiet and the air conditioner worked well. I'd recommended it to anyone looking to stay in Austin on a budget, but if you're some kind of big shot, this place isn't for you.

Stayed there one night and the cleaning lady knocked at the door the next day even when we had not checked out. Then the front desk called to ask if we were staying another night. Overall an OK OK, but the staff is not that friendly.

Just needed a place to stay after going out downtown. Decent for price that was paid.

Great Location, but it's not like is in the pictures.

I was very happy with the good service Very good location and the people in the hotel very friendly good showers very good smell in the sheets

Low on toilet paper, low on toiletries, trash was left in room before we arrived. Beds are not very comfortable. One of the bedside lamps was not working.

Short wak to 6th street. Neighborhood seemed safe. Grocery store near by.

It was horrible!!.. bathroom and sheets were disgusting. tub had some type of stains that way had been blood.i just waited to drive home to shower. i even got charged a extra 20$ cuz the other person staying with went in their own car. Overall i paid 90$ for a hotel that needs to be destroyed. I guess for a night your only going to sleep and leave i guess it may be worth it. but i still don't recommend it.

I just stayed here this passed weekend, and I was hesitant on booking it, seeing it's a 1 star and I work at a 5 diamond. It was my first time in Austin and I came on the busiest weekend, so this was my last option. The outside looks junky as does the inside and I was worried about bed bugs, but they do NOT have them and it was actually pretty cute once I got used to it. Only two problems were most lights didn't work and The pool was filthy. But the management and employees are AMAZING!!!!!!! I absolutely loved loved LOVED them! They are very friendly and will meet any means you want. I had to wait for a cab for four hours (crazy) but the management didn't stop calling different cabs for me, and they even asked general manager to give me a lift to the very important event I had to get to. Over all, they just need to upgrade some things and I would recommend this place. It's 8 dollars for a cab to 6th street. Not bad at all.

About 1.8 mile walk to 6th street. Stayed here for NYE so that I could walk down without spending a ton of $. Not a pretty room, but got the job done. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I left something valuable when i checked out, and they helped me get it back when I called them later on.

Ok, could have been better but then again for a one star hotel I guess it worked still would not spend more than one night.

I wouldn't bring my wife or kids here, but it's just fine for a guy traveling alone and who's not too picky. The room was clean but smelled a bit musty. The bed was small, thin, springy, and low to the ground. Everything was pretty compact. The general area, in terms of walking around at night, seemed seedy. But, it was the cheapest room in the area just minutes from where I needed to go that weekend.

We booked this room during SXSW. It was not close enough to walk to all the action, but a quick cab ride. Was a good value for the price.

We spent only one night at Rodeway Inn. The location is convenient but is close to the Hwy. The AC was On the entire night so we didn't listen any noise. The staff was very helpful and we didn't have any problem. "You get what you pay"... the price was fair. We were looking exactly for that, a place to sleep. We got!

This hotel is horrible. There was no running hot water and the room smelled like someone smoked 5 minutes before we got there. Glad we only stayed one night.

Once we open the door- the room smelled horrible- musty with a hint of cigars! The lighting didnt work, control was out of batteries, and the restrooms were horribly small- you can literally sit on the toilet, turn on the shower AND wash your hands at the same time... This was absolutely my worst experience in a hotel....

i would recomend this hotel to people it was a comfortable stay

Needed a place to stay near UT. It was a great location, at a fair price.
