TERRIBLE - DO NOT STAY HERE
The worst hotel experience my boyfriend and I have ever had in our lives. Paper thin walls separated us from our loud neighbors that kept us up until 5am. The shower heads had suspicious mold-like residue. If this wasn’t bad enough we woke up to ants in our bed!!! I thought I felt something crawling on me last night and that confirmed my suspicions. I am trying to contact management to give feedback and only receive voicemail. Very unprofessional.

I wouldn’t stay here again in the winter. Felt run down. Maybe I’d feel differently in the summer.

So I went through and read all the reviews and was beginig to think I made a mistake booking here. Honestly this place is not that bad! Our room was super cute, and it may have been the off season so it was a ghost town, but that's one of the reasons I liked it! Quiet and no drunk adults or screaming kids. Was it a little pricey being off season and none of the restaurants or bars were open.... yes. But overall the location was beautiful and it's in a cute littke town. Not sure how it is in summer, but I enjoyed some peace and quiet in the fall!
Looked like the room was updated 20 years ago. Poor parking, poor signage and run down.

Convenient
Location is great. Rooms could use some updating, but were pretty clean. Had to make multiple calls to get clean towels as three were not enough for two people and six nights.
Location and amenities Clean and quiet Good shower and porch/deck.
We’ll be back!

Very misleading on the website for the accommodations and not handicap accessible for parking or hotel building and the parking period is terrible
Beds very uncomfortable
The property is cute and quaint. It has comfortable beds. My only complaint is the walls are paper thin. We could clearly hear any talking in the hallway and in the room next to us. Other than that it’s a great place. Lots of restaurants to choose from.

This is a case of misrepresentation. The photos that they use to show beautiful rooms with modern renovations and amenities are NOT what you see when you open your door!
This place is basically an old hotel that is lucky to have a location that sucks vacationers into booking with them. Upon checkin, there is nobody there and you have to phone - there are two numbers - one that never gets answered and doesn’t respond to texts - and the other is just out of service.
They charge very high room rates for a motel room with a thin ikea foam mattress on the bed, beat up furniture and baseboards and dirty linoleum from the 70s. I’m okay with “dated” properties if they are clean and well maintained. Here, the linoleum is blackened from never being cleaned properly. The ceiling fan in the bathroom is disgusting. The particle board furniture is damaged and waterlogged.
It is run like a summer camp with a bunch of summer students behind the desk and serving. Things are in disrepair and could use carpet cleaning and power washing. The tiki bar picnic tables were all circa 1970s and most of the umbrellas didn’t work. The laminated menus were sticky with food and drink as they never get cleaned.
Honestly, I was looking forward to having a nice stay and what I got was a dingy motel room in a timeshare resort with no services that I was overcharged for.

While the property was beautiful, I expected a little bit more from this caliber of hotel. For example, the walls were very thin in my hotel room, and I could hear the TV from the next-door room as well as a crying child most of the night.
Apparently, there was a fitness center that was not functioning.
Despite an awesome location, Shore Club is one of the worst stays I've had at any price yet I paid $375 a night.
I was told I could check in early, but when I got there, they said the cable provider was doing things so we had to wait. Then they told us we can't park in the lot because it is reserved for condo owners. They pointed us towards a first come first served public parking area. We had to finds street parking in a busy resort area.
The hallways were a dank dark blue and led us to our very musty room. There was no way to call the front desk because it was abandoned. The sheets felt like cardboard, the bed horrible, and lighting in the room was inexplicable poor with a range of 5000K LED desk lamps and regular incandescent which made it hard to have them all on at the same time. The room had zero character or comfort. I was awakened at 3 am by somebody stumbling around the room above us as there is no sound insulation anywhere.
In the morning I had to make a pot of coffee in the "breakfast library" myself because there was no one to be found even though the sign told me to "ask front desk attendant" if something needed to be replenished.
There was no maid service but I did find towels in the "CLOSED" exercise room which was converted to store clean linens and towels on the floor and piled on the exercise equipment.
This is a dump taking prime rates from a captive audience attending events at Road America. Here us a typical photo you can expect.
Great location. Good rooms.
Our checkin was not good. We told them we would be very late. When we arrived at 11:30pm, the lobby was open but no one was there. We called multiple phone numbers and none of them worked. Eventually a guy pitched up and told us he’d left our keys at the entrance. They hadn’t given any instructions in this regard, and it was dark so we didn’t see it.
Smelly, bad breakfast. Room looked okay. No tv remote when tv was left on when we arrived. The building I think is attached to an old church and creaked a bit. Okay service when we checked in. No service when we checked out.
First the staff could not confirm the reservation.
Wanted to charge me even though it was pre paid was quoted a different amount than advertised.
Second I get it’s off seasons but why stuff is on the second floor?
The pool had no towels the fitness center was closed and full of crap.
They said the was a confidential breakfast but it was granola bars and bananas. The coffee machine wasn’t even turned on.
Upon checkout no one was even around.
