Loved it! The rooms are older, but very clean and our stay was great! Would definitely stay here again. Great location and right on the water.
The room was spacious and exceptionally clean (as it has been in all our previous stays). We once again found the bed along with the sheets, pillows and blankets, clean, fresh smelling, and extremely comfortable. The room from floor to ceiling looked to be that of a high-end resort. From the minute we entered our room we were welcome by a fresh clean scent (not musty). Upon turning on the lights we immediately were able to see the great detail and attention placed on everything from the professionally painted, clean, crisp defined lines along the walls and ceiling. The color palette along with the rooms décor was perfect for the Northwoods and the amenities (refrigerator, stove, sink etc..) provided us an array of options. The coffee provided was excellent, along with the choices offered (some breakfast cereal even gluten-free) ensured there was something there for everyone. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating from our late Friday night arrival throughout our Sunday stay. If there was an indoor pool along with a Hot Tub my guess would be rooms would be booked out years in advance. I'll stop at that before someone realizes what a wonderful place this really is and they raise their rates accordingly. In all seriousness I again give the Centerstone Resort Lake-Aire a five star review.
We did have a little trouble with the lock on one of our doors, but that didn’t diminish the charm of our room. Could benefit from a few updates, but it was bigger than we expected, nice lake view, front and back entry, kitchenette, bbq grill to use and a deck. Nice quiet escape, would stay here again.

Very disappointed in the receipt i received. I booked thru a 3rd party and when i checked out, the bill showed the price the hotel was charged by the 3rd party, NOT the price i was actually charged, which was $18.50 less than I paid. If you cut a deal with a hotel, it should be transparent to the customer!! I want to see a receipt with the price i was charged.
Staff was very cordial and helpful. Rooms were clean and larger than normal. Everything in working order. Good shower flow! Nice views from our balcony room. Breakfast was meager- would like to see more options. Looks hey have a breakfast room but it was closed due to low occupancy when we stayed. They had breakfast in their small lobby.
Beautiful property. Forest setting. Lake with dock and kayaking available. Volleyball and horseshoe pits. Very nice patio with fire pit by the lake. Lobby was comfortable and cozy. Room super clean. Kitchenette with frig., cooktop, sink, pans, dishes. Will definitely stay there again.
Old and worn out, but next to a beautiful lake. The continental breakfast was one of the worst I've seen.
