Nice spa; clean room; water slide open only on weekends though

The hotel lobby was very nice, clean, well decorated. The rooms clean but a little outdated. That was not to big of a deal to us because we just slept in it. Covid affected the breakfast. They normally have hot food but now everything was bagels, yogurt, juice anything prepackaged so we had to go get breakfast. We brought cereal but they had no milk. The swim area was great because it was a very quiet weekend and we felt like we had it to ourselves. Our kids are 13 and 15 and they were to old for it. We all enjoyed the hot tub though! We would stay again because we visit family near by and the rates we got were great!

From the gentleman whom greeted us at the front desk to the room, amenities and staff made our stay absolutely wonderful.

Property is ok, didn’t use the pool, many of the services were closed due to Covid 19 virus. Kinda of a dated property.

Pub and restaurant was advertised. Not open. Decks and northwoods feel are nice.

Clean and comfortable place to stay. Friendly Staff, check in and out went smoothly. Will return again.

We had an enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean and quiet and it seemed they did the absolute best they could with covid restrictions. My only concern is with the customer service and front desk workers the first day and night. Upon our arrival on Monday 7/13, the girl started checking us in and took down my name then told me to go to the girl sitting next to her. So I told the lady sitting next to her our name, she starts checking me in then rudely takes a phone call mid conversation. She then tells me to go back to the original girl who was going to check me in. So after a 3rd attempt and me literally walking back and forth between the two workers, we got checked in. We later asked for a restaurant recommendation from the same workers. The lady checking me in AGAIN takes a phone call mid conversation and points me to go to the girl next to her. Why is the person who is in a conversation with the customer taking calls multiple times when there is another worker to do so? We just did not get an overall welcoming, helpful feeling. The second night, there was a man working who was amazing. I asked if they sold milk as we needed some for our baby for bed time and he helped me out in a pinch by getting me some from a back fridge. He was super friendly and I was happy to have at least one positive experience with the customer service. The check out morning, our female worker was also very friendly.

We really enjoyed the water slides and pools during our stay. Everything was very clean throughout the hotel. It was interesting to see how the continental breakfast was due to Covid. I’m hoping they will change their items as we all learn about new food items out there that are individually wrapped as the selection was very small right now. ( understandably)

Place was great. A shuttle would have been helpful as we were hoping to explore town.

Enjoyed the breakfast and the atmosphere staff very helpful

The front desk staff, including the manager, were not hospitable at all! They were cold and unhelpful during check in and check out. Our room was not ready when we arrived so we decided to spend some time in the arcade. A few of the machines took our money, but did not work. We put money in the token machine and that also did not work. There wasn’t one employee working the Arcade, or anywhere near it. There were other kids in the arcade that wanted to redeem their tickets with no one around. The front desk staff repaid us the money we had lost in the token machine, but not the games, because that is a different company that runs the games. The kids had to go into the pool area to find a lifeguard to help them redeem their tickets in the arcade. The water area was nice and great for small children. Our room was outdated and the carpet was disgusting. We didn’t want to take off our shoes. The overall hotel appearance was not so great either. The furniture in the lobbies needs to be replaced—they look dirty and unwelcoming. I certainly would not sit on them. We decided not to stay the night and checked out after our kids were done swimming. When we checked out, after not even staying the night, the front desk manager did not even inquire as to why we were choosing to leave. I would not recommend staying at this hotel!

Breakfast food was horrible. My son ate breakfast and threw up about one hour later. Refrigerator in the room was cold on 1st night. The maid came to clean the room the following day. We came back to our room and maid turn the refrigerator off. We brought panasi from ironwood,Michigan. We went to front desk and spoke to manager, Shirley. She was not friendly. No maintenance can come to our room to check refrigerator and we tried to fix it ourselves. So we had to use the hotel refrigerator. I asked the manager if she can honor discount for the problem they caused. She was not friendly and said we will talk about it tomorrow am when I come in at 7 am. I told we we might leave earlier beforev7 am to head back home in Chicago. She didn’t even bother to take care of it. So I left to go back to my room. We didn’t use their pool/hot tub cuz they need to update. Not clean area.

Warm pools, nice and clean. The fixtures in the room could use some updating (sink counter, faucets, etc), but otherwise it was a nice stay.

Great hotel, only issue was dirt in bottom of hot tub, but it is indoor/outdoor.
