We enjoyed the pool and atmosphere. Nice resort and clean. The room itself was a little disappointing. The toliet flushed so loudly and we could even hear our next door neighbors when they were flushing their toliet! The shower was a "step in" which seemed a little dangerous and my husband even stubbed his toe getting in and out. The room seemed a little stuffy when the loud ac wasn't running. We didn't like running the ac a lot because it was running loudly and we couldn't hear the tv. I wish the ventilation was better in the room. For a hotel that was on the more expensive side, I was hoping to have a better experience staying in one of their rooms. We ordered room service from the Italian restaurant, and for 2 plates of pasta for the price we paid, the food wasn't even tasty or a good portion for the price. The property was very scenic and beautiful set right by the lake. Loved the fact that couples were getting married at the property and the pool area was spacious and beautiful with plenty of empty chairs avaliable.

I went to check out… and then called within 10 minutes to let them know my daughter left her bag in the room. The person said oh yeah no problem we will have someone go into room and get it. When I came back to the hotel the front desk had no idea what I was talking about. Then he went to ask if something was found in room and said no. He said oh wait no one has come into the room to check in. Let me go check if something is there… there was nothing. I find it strange that the housekeeper was outside my room with her daughter and then no one else came into room. Sad that this happen. He then said I will talk to housekeeping tomorrow… well I’m still awaiting phone call. We have stayed at this hotel for many many many years and we have forgotten stuff by accident and is always there. This time wasn’t the case. My daughter lost her summer memories in her water camera. So sad that no one knew nothing.

I didnt like that the room was so outdated. I was able to see other rooms and found they were upgraded. Didn't understand why i payed more money for a non-updated room. I was furious. I asked the hotel ckerk and i was told rooms were being renovated but why didnt i receive one of those rooms. My room carpet had stains, there were even stains at the entry door before entering the room. The bathroom shower made noise n i couldn't take a relaxing shower. The air conditioner was loud when it came on. I had my elderly mom with me and our room seemed like literally a mile from the lobby. I had to get a wheel chair to get her to our room. Another thing i was told we could not use the outdoor pool because of rain the previous day. The day we were checking out i wanted to use the pool there was no rain in sight and myselself and other guest were told it would be closed until 12pm. I paid fir access to the pool and should have had it but was denied. Our key cards would not work. Again, we spoke to front desk and were given the reason from rain the oreviius day. Honestly i would like all my money returned. I felt for the a.ount of $652 dollars for 2 nights, i was robbed. I will be reaching out to corporate on this matter as well. Also i have pics of the room i stayed.

I had an upgrade to a suite in the clubhouse area which was amazing. Staff was great, The only thing was coffee maker did not work and shower had slow drain, also my original room was at the lodge which is where pool and other amenities are located so I really didn’t get to enjoy them. The lodge and clubhouse is about 10 minute drive.

Great Outdoor Pool Space

We had one of the rooms that have not been renovated and the AC was loud and disruptive all night long. The outdoor pool is great. The indoor pool could use a refresh as it seemed dreary and sad. The staff was great and very helpful, but options were limited for them based on what rooms were available.
