Lake view was perfect. The sitting area outside of our room was great except people were smoking even though it wasn’t allowed. I tried to call the office but no one answered. Staff is friendly. The rooms were clean but are on the older side. The bed was comfortable.

Great little spot, but Definitely not a spa

The area was absolutely beautiful!!!! The amenities, not so much. The "spa tub" was not operational. I first noticed there was no bath tub stopper. I alerted the attendant. They said they would try to locate it. They told me they were not able to find one that fit. The next morning i realized that the knob to turn on the jets was painted shut. The beautiful fire place in the room was not operational as well. The view was amazing and the restaurant and bar being 20 feet away was perfect. Great little get away minus the amenities not being functional.

there were bugs all in our room and the office closes at 8 pm so I had to leave a message, we left at 9 that night we did not stay and nobody called me back to return my voicemail, I had to call again the following Monday.

This property had a great waterfront balcony with a view. It was quiet when we were there and we enjoyed our stay and would return. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were a little soft but not bad for a couple nights. I was not crazy about the food or drinks at the restaurant. We had pasta dishes and they were just ok for us. The drinks we had were $14 each and really sweet so would probably skip the restaurant next time. The pool was great, it went up to 9ft deep and we enjoyed our time at the pool. The little beach area had kayaks, paddle boards and water bikes for you to use which although we didn’t have time, I loved that they offered this!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was gorgeous and the room was clean and comfortable. We especially liked having a restaurant right there on the property. Dinner was delicious. The only issue we had was that the room air conditioner was very loud which woke us up all night. Highly recommend.

Warning to anyone wanting to book this property on Expedia! We paid an average of $550/night, and Expedia only paid the hotel $319/night! It might not have hurt as badly if we had had a better experience. Everywhere you go, you see things in disrepair. Paint chipping on the outside railings, on the steps and on the furniture in the room. Worn-out rug in front of the main entrance. Both lampshades in our room had holes in them. The screen door barely closed and needed to be replaced. The air conditioner was extremely loud. The floor of the restaurant was filthy, and I had to ask for some napkins to clean off the spider webs next to our table on the balcony. Plus the service was poor.The Expedia listing said we got free breakfast. All we got was $10 vouchers for the first day which barely covered half of the cost of breakfast. We never got our room cleaned because apparently you have to put a sign out which we were not told about. We were later told this was because of the COVID pandemic which,BTW, officially ended more than two years ago! When I called at 3:30 asking to have the room serviced they said the maids left at 4:00, but still never sent anyone to clean the room. I will say the location is great and the view of Lake Como from the room was beautiful, but not worth it at any price. When I spoke to the manager after our stay, he was pleasant and very apologetic, but the best he could offer would be a free one-night stay. And WHY would we possibly want to go back??

Room was very dated and lots of things broken or old. Does not appear this way in pictures, very deceiving. Also, the pool was taken over by the entire family of one of the staff…very uncomfortable situation. Wound up leaving a day early. Tried calling and e-mailing management. Never got a response. I would definitely stay away from this place. Especially for the money they charge. It’s absurd. I would give it zero stars

This property is an old motel that they are remodeling into a cute, more modern lake spot. We got one of the old rooms that had not been remodeled. The air conditioner was extremely loud and would turn off and on. The balcony is a communal balcony that you share with all your neighbors (not ideal). And the water spits out at you due to the inconsistent water pressure. But the worst part was that we had small bugs on our room. We asked to be moved to another room which the staff resisted at first but finally moved us. Our second room was remodeled and much nicer and no bugs!! Overall, it was not even close to worth the $550 a night we paid.

Old and overpriced

Everything was old and the only thing actually worked was that there were nice towels. Hard to give details of every little thing. Plus, WAY overpriced for what was received. Another issue came up while there, that was resolved by a super nice and understanding desk person. Appreciated him a lot !

We were attending a wedding at Geneva National, so it was very convenient. But particularly for the whopping $650 we paid, it was VERY underwhelming. Pretty old, and the smoke alarm went off when using a hair straightener! Ceiling fan was very rickety, noisy all night but needed because it was quite hot. Pictures are a bit deceiving, this is not a luxury property.
